Classic Sci Fi Mystery Minis

Great things come in mysterious miniature or pint sized packages, but which great thing will it be? It's all a mystery until you open one. Then the fun begins.

Classic Sci Fi Mystery Minis

Postby ahaubert80 » Sat Jul 05, 2014 12:43 pm

Today I was hunting for a Glow in the Dark Mars Attacks Pop and I happened to come across a pre-order for the classic Sci Fi Mystery Minis on Entertainment Earth.

Give your office or TV room a science-fiction feel with these Classic Sci-Fi Mystery Mini Vinyl Figures, each standing 2 1/2-inches tall. The characters are from classic science-fiction movies and include Predator, Alien, Mars Attacks Alien, Judge Dredd, Robby the Robot, B-9, RoboCop, Amok Time Spock, Tron, Metaluna Mutant, and E.T.! Which ones will you get? Ages 3 and up.

This Classic Sci-Fi Mystery Mini Vinyl Figure Display Box contains 12 individually blind-packaged vinyl mini-figures that may include (subject to change):
Predator
Alien
Mars Attacks Alien
Judge Dredd
Robby the Robot
B-9 from Lost in Space
RoboCop
Amok Time Spock
Tron
Metaluna Mutant
E.T.

Has anyone seen any glams or other info on these minis?

No glams that I'm aware of, but I have seen pics of the back of the box with rarities and stuff.

Here's hoping Series 1 does well so that Metropolis could be a consideration for Series 2. I love my Metropolis Wobblers.

Sorry, that discussion had been inactive for over a month before I bumped it up after starting this thread. Do I need to delete this thread and move my first message over to that thread to stay in compliance?

I was just pointing it out to you in case there was info you had not seen. If there is ever a case where something should be merged the mods will do it and if it needs to be deleted the mods will send you a PM.

Have fun!!!

That is a great looking series, though I really wish they had given Firefly a series of its own.

And I wish that Star Trek would get its own series. I'm also realistic enough to take my Spock and be happy. Maybe, maybe, maybe.

So if you have 17 characters, and 12 boxes, and 9 of those characters are all 1/12, are you guaranteed to get 3 "chase" figures? Or is it more likely to get multiples of the 1/12 characters? As it is, you're guaranteed 2 [different] TRON figures, and more likely to get 2 Alien's and 2 Predators. It would suck if you ended up with multiples of the variant figures and no other chase figures.

I think these are coming in the 24 box/Case size. most likely a case will get you
2 each of the 9 1/12
1 each of the 4 1/24
plus 2 others of the higher rarity

I hadn't seen that picture yet. Then I change my guess to:

1 each of 9 1/12's
2 1/24's
1 higher rarity

That's my hope too! Although that means you're most likely to end up with 2 Trons, 2 Aliens, and 2 Predators.

If anyone wants to help me get the two Trons and a Dredd I would be super grateful. I don't want to buy a case or blind box hunt for 3 characters. haha

Anyone know how much shipping usually is from EE?

I'm thinking about breaking down and ordering my first case...

Shipping at EE is free, I think, if you order above $75.... Anyone correct me if I'm wrong.

You're close. It's $79, but only on in-stock items. I don't think pre-orders qualify.

Domestic shipping on a case of 12 would cost about $10 in shipping.

Be wary of ordering any series that's packed in cases of 24 from them. EE offers "free" shipping on those, but their prices are jacked way up to compensate.
