Horror Mystery Minis Series 2

Great things come in mysterious miniature or pint sized packages, but which great thing will it be? It's all a mystery until you open one. Then the fun begins.

Dracula is definitely a must for this series! I'm guessing they didn't put him in Series 2 because of Nosferatu?
Another I thought about is Tarman from the Return of the Living Dead.

With all the love Walking Dead has been getting, it'd only seem natural to put any one of Romero's zombies into the mix. Though it might be hard to differentiate between walking dead and night of the living dead. Because after all, they are all zombies.

I'm also all for Shaun and Ed. But only if it's zombie Ed.

Other thoughts:

-R.J. MacReady (Kurt Russell's character from The Thing,) but only if he's wearing his sombrero. :p
-Jack Torrence from The Shining (w/ a chase figure being the human popsicle version of him)
-Pan from Pans Labyrinth.
-Dr. Frankenstein (but only if it's gene wilder from Young Frankenstein)
-Eric Draven

Oh didn't you see Series 2? Eric Draven is in it, along with Shaun and Ed! Woot! Those are also some cool ideas though, especially Jack Torrence and R.J.!

That is pretty awesome. As a whole, I'm not too terribly impressed with the set. But there are definitely a few figures I'll be on the lookout for.

Plus, that can't be all of them, can it?

Oh yeah you're right! That's 15 figures, and they normally do 17 to 18. That's exciting! I wonder who else is to come?

I think my previous list was a bit less focused. I made a better list of potential horror classics, based on other's lists and rethinking the idea of iconic character choices:
1. Candyman
2. Jaws (maybe coming out of a water splash?)
3. Invisible Man (with translucent variant)
4. Phantom of the Opera
5. Dracula
6. The Crypt Keeper
7. R.J. MacReady
8. The Thing (form that's easiest to make)
9. Norman Bates (unless that's spoiler territory)
10. Leprechaun
11. Carrie
12. Audrey II (horror related)
13. Sadako/Samara
14. Jack Torrance
15. Van Helsing (not really horror, but monster related)
16. Creeper (from Jeepers Creepers)
17. Regan MacNeil
18. Stay Puft Marshmallow Man (or Slimer)
Unless they throw a couple of those into Series 2, which would be great imo!

Great list! Man I would freak out if they ever made The Crypt Keeper.

Still a bit disappointed in the lack of women in the Horror and Sci-Fi minis. Maybe they can do comic con exclusives of the horror and sci-fi minis that are all about the girl power.

Yeah I'm surprised they haven't made a Ripley from Alien yet. Maybe the Kane/Facehugger one will get replaced by her?

Then there are plenty of scary choices for the Horror line like that list I made up above. Carrie (Carrie), Sadako (Ringu), Annie Wilkes (Misery), Regan (The Exorcist), Bride of Frankenstein, etc.

They're both great lines though. I'm sure if Series 2 goes well for both of them there will be several women figures in Series 3 (or maybe some we don't know of in Series 2).

Agreed. Sci-Fi is a genre full of great female characters. For Horror, there are plenty of characters as well, despite the fact that most horror icons are male: Bride of Frankenstein, Regan, Carrie, Pamela Voorhees, Samara, Annie Wilkes, the Grudge ghost, Tiffany (Chucky), Audrey II, the Queen of the Damned...
Wanted Minis: Stone Zuul/Terror Dog, Grady Twins, Scarred Chucky, GITD Pennywise, Zombie Ed, Guitar Crow, B&W Alfred Hitchcock, Spider Leg Pennywise, Henry Bowers, FYE Eddie, FYE Beverly, HT Bill, HT Ben

I'd love to see the crypt keeper, possessed Regan, and Tiffany (Chucky). There's always series 3.

Anyone thinking Regan will be included now that they're making a Pop! Version of her?

I'm excited for these. And since there has been no news of them for quite a while, and it's getting closer to Halloween, I thought I'd go ahead and post a list of characters I'd like to see in series 3.

Regan - The Exorcist
Damien - The Omen
Jack Torrance - The Shining
Grady Twins - The Shining
Carrie - Carrie
Annie Wilkes - Misery
Dracula - Dracula (1931)
Annabelle - The Conjuring
Black and White Freddy - A Nightmare on Elm Street 5: Dream Child
Candyman - Candyman
Norman Bates dressed as Norma - Psycho
Jaws - Jaws
Phantom of the Opera - Phantom of the Opera (1925)
Wolfman - The Wolfman (1941)
Jigsaw - Saw
Black and White Zombie - Night of the Living Dead (1968)
Samara - The Ring
Tiffany - Bride of Chucky

I liked Puppet Master. Blade, Pinhead and a few others should be nice to have in the Funko minis.
