DC Comics Justice League Series 2 Minis Released

Hello good friends. I came back from my local comic store to find that the new DC comics mystery minis series 2 set has been released. Figures look awesome. I would be very excited to see a box layout description as after my 24 hour funko binge I have netted not a single uncommon or rare figure.

Ive picked up eight in total now, from three different stores. No doubles, but I got all commons and martian manhunter. Entire justice league.

Ended up buying two cases (one from HT and one from a local comic shop). Got 10 doubles (bummer), but most of the exclusives. I really wish they would sell 18 in a case instead of 10... especially with 20 figures to get!

Just picked up a case today here in upstate New York..... Was super stoked for the release of these but I am kind of dissappointed in the paint. the metalic and non ht exclusive harley have horrible paint jobs and super glue drips all over them. Death stroke doesn't stand (tips to Bo staff side). The batmans look good but the heads and faces of the other figures are very caricaturistic. The marvel minus from sdcc were amazing and I feel these fall short

The case I picked up had all of the non 1:12 pieces on the bottom. However the case I picked up today had them on the top.

Just picked up a bunch at hot topic today. They weren't up front but I asked one of the cashiers and they got the box from the back. I like opening 1-2 per day as a kind of after work/end of the day reward for myself. So far Im super excited. Out of 5 boxes (I cheated a bit and opened 3 the first day lol

), I got 2 commons (Superman and Deathstroke) and 3 rares (Lex Luther, White Lantern, and Metallic Harley Quinn). I was so excited when I got the harley quinn its my first hot topic exclusive although Speedbyte is 100% right there are super glue drips here and there and the paint job isnt amazing. The chases I got I believe were all from the top 6 of the boxes either front or back. Its hard to tell after they put them in the bag but I picked 6 from the top of one box and 4 (front and back) from the top of another. I got the white lantern and lex luther from the first top 6 boxes i bought and the metallic harley from the second 4 front and back I bought.

Just wanted to add that the first 6 I bought from the top of the boxes were from a completely clean set the cashier unboxed in front of me. The second 4 were from a seemingly untouched box that was on display but I cant be 100% sure it wasnt mixed up in some way. Either way at this point Im over the moon happy with the Harley pull (despite the imperfections), she is displayed right under my monitor as Im typing this, a position of distinction and honor reserved only for the most exciting chase pulls of my relatively short yet rewarding funko collecting career.

Grabbed 2 from a picked over case today and ended up with classic Batman and Martian Manhunter. Would be willing to trade MM of someone looking to complete the set needs him.

I have bought 14 of these now from various stores. I have had no luck at all with the rares. Only one 1/24 (martian manhunter) none of the other ones. Love um, but they are going to drain my wallet.

Just bought a couple more boxes on a whim from the hot topic in the local mall even though I only had a few that I needed. Was hoping to get the regular hot topic Harley but to my utter shock scored the black flash. Can't believe my luck. Days like this are why I love the mystery minis. Even though they perhaps aren't as well made as some of the other funko products that rush of opening that black bag and slowly revealing a chase is addicting.

I have had really poor luck with these. I have bought quite a few of them and I have pulled only 1 of the rare ones (Metalic Harley). I was hoping for a complete set, but my statistically unreasonable lack of luck has disheartened me. Im going to stick with the ones I have now.

Love this series. I got the White Lantern Batman in the very first DC box I bought and opened. Next was a Power Girl.

Bought four boxes at B&N last weekend and pulled 3 Flash and a Wonder Woman.

Just ordered a case from BBTS last night, so we'll see how that goes. Hoping for a Reverse Flash.

I wish I could find these in the wild....I've only ever seen empty display boxes at my HT

Ironically, I'd love any of those dupes everyone keeps pulling! Power Girl is on my mini wish list

Try Gamestop, everyone I've been to has almost full displays and I'll gladly trade a Power Girl.

Just that sometimes I have to look hard to find a good price. At conventions, prices for minis can range really wildly, from 8 a pop, to 7, to 6 a pop in some booths. One booth even had 5/$20, but they were out of the particular minis I was interested in.
I had to hunt down the ones at 6, still upset I didnt try to get a second one though.But oh well. Next time I'll pull from Marvel or maybe one of the sci fi ones to give it some more variety. Or I may cave and try the DC minis again.

(One booth at Comikaze last year had 5 dollar minis, and it was literally the whole booth was minis...I should've gotten more...

I already had a Power Girl before I ordered my case, so I'll likely get another one. Got anything to trade for her? My case should be here tomorrow.
