Disney Mystery Minis Heroes vs Villains

Great things come in mysterious miniature or pint sized packages, but which great thing will it be? It's all a mystery until you open one. Then the fun begins.

I saw these last night, I'm surprised there's more Frozen in it, especially with the Frozen series coming out not too long ago. They are really cute though.

Love the idea, dislike that we're getting more of Ariel and Frozen when there are others that could have been made (Hades/Hercules being foremost, Mulan/Shan Yu being another great alternative)

Just one more person saying that seeing Frozen here is kinda weird (maybe this was before they decided to make a Frozen series? I dunno...)

Herecules/Hades would have been awesome and I'm probably the only one who'd want a Robin Hood and Little John...
Looking for Mal & Rocketeer (and a few random others). The gf wants to trade Ponies.

I think it's mostly because Frozen is just super popular right now, and maybe they felt including Frozen would give the set a sales boost.

Herecules/Hades would have been awesome and I'm probably the only one who'd want a Robin Hood and Little John...

Well, Little John wasn't a villain. I think you mean Prince John? :smile_ears:

Just to add, like I wrote in the other thread about this set, I'd have loved Hiro with Yokai.

These are so cute! I might actually pick one up when they come out, as I think I'd be cool with any of the 12. I like that A Bug's Life is getting some representation. And I can't help thinking it's neat to see Gantu in there.

Also I'm gonna echo a lot of others and say it would have been amazing to see Hercules and Hades featured.

Are these all 1/12? The mystery minis aren't as fun to collect without the 1/144's.

I do like the villains and Heimlich though.

Hopefully Disney Series 3 has 1/144's.

I've only been collecting funko mystery minis for maybe a year, mostly just DC and Disney and I've pulled 6 1/144's so far. Once I pulled two 1/144's from the same Barnes and Noble back to back.

I mean there's definitely nothing compared to finding a 1/144 figure.

I feel like having all the figures 1/12 is the equivalent of putting the name of the figure on each box.

I don't mind the 1/72s, but as someone with terrible luck, I kiss the chance of pulling 1/144s goodbye the moment I see them announced.

I'm not sure if this has been brought up elsewhere, but according to the Pop Vinyls website, we are getting Hot Topic exclusives (Rapunzel-Gothel and Simba-Scar).

Not too excited about those. We already have lion king ones and nobody in my house was a fan of rapunzel. I htink they missed a lot of good opportunities with this set.

I have such mixed feelings on these. I feel like they could have left out the Heimlich and the grasshopper guy(I love this movie and his name escapes me) and put in villains/heroes like Maleficent and Aurora or, as other mentioned, Hercules and Hades.

And the Frozen pair makes no sense. Anna vs. the Snow Monster? Really? Why not use the actual villain in the movie and not one that was in it for all of five minutes?

I know Frozen is still large and popular, but I do wish that for the Hot Topic sets they would have removed Anna and Marshmallow. As for why they are using Marshmallow as the 'villain' truly makes no sense. After all if we want to get technical, he was only following orders... Would have been nice to actually have the true villain.

Anyways, I wounder who all they will have in the next wave (assuming there will be one)?

I'm looking forward to Simba and Rapunzel!

As for the Frozen selections, Hans seems to have been largely ignored by Funko in all of the various Frozen products thus far be it Pops or Mystery Minis.

Funko isn't purposely ignoring Hans. Disney is the one making the call as to whether Hans is included or not.

Why would they leave him out? I don't even like Frozen and that seems like a silly thing to do as everything with that on it seems to sell like mad, so it isn't like he wouldn't sell.
