Next year is the 50th Anniversary of Star Trek The Original Series. So I put together a (wish) list of five series of Mystery Minis that would encompass all the Star Trek TV series and hit most every major character. I mixed in minor characters and spread out major characters to even out the series. I considered the captains as anchors in each series.

Star Trek across all series. They could make a tonne of sets with all that material.

I don't know if they've ever done a purely Pixar set, but I wouldn't mind that at all.

Buffy and Angel minis would be cool.
I'd also love an XFiles set. They could have so many variations of the characters this way and with the show back next year, it would be the perfect time.

After seeing how great Stripe turned out in the Horror Mystery Minis series two, how about a set dedicated to Mogwai and Gremlins? A case of 12 with 1/12 rarity each should do it. ;-)

Also, how about a set based on The Strain? There are POP!s coming out, so I wonder if minis are on the table too? It could be like TWD sets and contain a few on the main characters and fill out the set with vampires.

Since they did Horror a line, I'd like to see an Action Movie line using main and supporting characters. Some of the top of my head are:

Stallone-Cobra/Demolition Man/Rambo

etc.

You get the idea. There's so many characters both main and supporting, some of them really ridiculous, that you could do a few lines at least.

Love the Wizard of Oz idea! Little flying monkey minis would be so adorable, and a little Toto companion like the Disney/Alice/Harry Potter style.

I would LOVE to see lines for Bioshock and Silent Hill. I think the style of TWD minis would suit the characters from these franchises well.

Bioshock: Jack, Atlas, Fontaine, Andrew Ryan, Tenenbaum, Little Sister, Big Daddy, Big Sister, Eleanor Lamb, Sofia Lamb, Delta, Sinclair, Spider Splicer, Baby Doll Splicer, Brute Splicer, etc.

Bioschock Infinite: Booker, Elizabeth, the Luteces, Comstock, Daisy Fitzroy, Songbird, Fireman, Handyman, Boy of Silence, Zealot of the Lady, etc.

Chases could include Jack, Booker, and Delta with the different plasma/tonic effects and Elizabeth and Eleanor in their different outfits.

There are waaaaay too many characters to name for Silent Hill but I'd mostly want to see characters/monsters from 2 and 3.

The first two are owned by Sony, but the last two are owned by Activision and used in the Skylanders series.

Having the Shaun and Ed from Horror S2 made me wish there was a complete set for the whole Blood and Ice Cream Trilogy. They'd probably have to reissue Shaun and Ed if they did, but a small price to pay. Way too many possibilities there. Maybe:

With the popularity of Pokemon Go, I think a Pokemon set would be really cool. Especially since rarity is already a thing in the pokemon world, you could make the rare pokemon into rare minis. Set would have to include the starters Bulbasaur, Squirtle, and Charmander. Gotta have Pikachu in there. For the rare ones I'd like to see Gayrados, Ditto, MewTwo, maybe the rare birds. Maybe to p*** everyone off throw a pidgey in there as a 1/6.

I understand where you're coming from and I wouldn't mind another style, but I enjoy the new style because it reminds me of POP!s. With the uniformity, they look really great when they're all together.

What style would you like to see them in?
The trunk style without eyes would seem sort of creepy, so I don't think I'd go with something like that.

Maybe whole new individual sculpts? That's expensive, so I don't know if Funko would be for it. The newest Nightmare Before Christmas Mystery Minis are a good example of this. They are all individualized pieces. I would be totally for Funko creating a Mystery Mini series like that. Perhaps those only look great because they're animation and the figures look identical to the films characters?

Either way, I'm interested in creating momentum/interest for this series. So, all opinions and conversation is welcome! :cheers:
