Disney Mystery Minis Series 3 (or is it 4?)

Great things come in mysterious miniature or pint sized packages, but which great thing will it be? It's all a mystery until you open one. Then the fun begins.

Disney Mystery Minis Series 3 (or is it 4?)

Postby sylin » Sun Jul 26, 2015 11:15 pm

:tink: What would you like to see in the next Disney mystery minis set?

I'm hoping for...

- Big Hero 6 (WiR and Frozen got them, why not BH6?)
- Zootopia and Moana (due to them coming out, minis are great for advertising!)
- More characters from obscure titles (Bolt, Meet the Robinsons, Black Cauldron, Robin Hood, etc)
- Disney animated TV show characters, whether older (Darkwing Duck, Rescue Rangers) or newer (Gravity Falls, Star vs the Forces of Evil)
- Goofy (since we got Mickey and the SDCC Donald already)

-Maleficent in dragon form :D
-Tangled (happy ones, unlike the 'vs')
-Hercules
-Mulan
-Aladdin
-Aristocats

My daughter would go gaga over a Disney Junior set

I would love to see a 90's era wave, featuring characters we haven't seen already from films such as:

Beauty and the Beast
Lumiere
Cogsworth
Gaston

Aladdin
uh... how about Aladdin already
Abu
Raja / Iago

Mulan
Mulan
Mushu

Lion King I think has been covered, but maybe Zazu?

Hercules
Herc
Megara
Phil
Zeus / Hades
Pain / Panic

As much as I love and adore Darkwing and company to perhaps outrageous lengths, I really do not want to see them in minies. As they would be the only ones I probably would want (depending on line-up), it would be hard to find them and hard to justify a case on top of my anime figure addiction. :P

But I do think obscure titles would be a great concept. With Toy Story's anniversary drawing near maybe there will be a wave of just the gang from Toy Story?

Would love a Toy Story line. Maybe a few from each movie 1-3.

I'd like to see more Mickey. I would not be opposed to him in various outfits and that's it, no other characters.

I think even having one Disney Afternoon character in a Disney variety set would cause it to skyrocket in popularity, and will be highly sought after.

Since a lot of people seem to be going for this, would a Disney nostalgia MM set be a good idea? Rather, a set that mixes movie and cartoon characters from the 90s?

Basically, would you buy a MM set if you could have the chances to pull Aladdin, Hercules, Mulan, AND Scrooge McDuck, Darkwing Duck, Gadget Hackwrench, etc?

Darkwing Duck needs a pop & a mini. Was one of my favorites as a kid.

doubtful, If they wouldn't even put Darkwing into Disney Infinity with Superheroes there is probably no chance :(

They did have him in their poll for a potential addition to Disney Infinity and he has done rather well in the poll and even fan tweets. I have a feeling we will see him someday soon.

I just can't for the life of me figure out how somebody like Stitch who is from a lower tier movie and a short lived TV show that I've never met a single person that is a fan of gets so much darn Merch and yet so many of the real classic characters get squat.

THE HUNCHBACK OF NOTRE DAME. Quasimodo, Esmeralda and Frollo. Those would be my MAIN wants. Even if they did another Heroes Vs. Villains set and did Quasi and Frollo, that'd be FINE. As long as I get a Frollo Mystery Mini, I'll be a happy camper.

HERCULES. Again, the same can be said of Hades. I just want a Hades Mini. That'd be lovely.

THE GREAT MOUSE DETECTIVE. A Basil and Professor Ratigan Heroes vs. Villains would be PERFECT.

Other characters I want to see: DR. FACILIER from The Princess and the Frog. Obscure characters like Sword in the Stone/Robin Hood. GASTON from Beauty and the Beast...
Collecting since: August 24, 2014
First POP: Hannibal Lecter (#25)

Me too.

In fact, I'd be happy seeing most/all of those in one series altogether.

I have a lot of friends who are big fans of lilo and stitch so im not surprised. Personally I wasn't a fan. I would love a bunch of disney after noon sets.

Ducktales with scrooge, huey, with dewie and louie as varients, magica despell, one beagle boy with two others as variants, gyro gearloose, duckworth, mrs beakly, webbie, doofus, flinthart glumgold launchpad and gizmo duck (thats twelve with 4 variants)

Chip and Dale's Rescue Rangers, Chip, Dale, Gaget, Monteray Jack, Zipper, Fat Cat, Norton Nimnul ?

Tailspin, Baloo, Becky, Kitt, Louie, Molly, Wild Kat, Don Carnage (his air pirates could be variants) Sheer Kahn

Darkwing Duck: Darkwing with a Drake Mallard Variant, Gossalin with a Quiver Wing Quack variant, Honker with a binky, herb or tank variant, Nega Duck, Mega Volt, Bushroot, Quackerjack, Steelbeak, with an eggman variant, Professor Moliarty, stegmutt Neptunia and morgana MacCawber

Does anyone know when we're slated to get more Disney minis?

Honestly, I wish they'd have more sets throughout the year. I've written about this before in these forums, but I'd love for the Disney Parks to carry Pops and minis, particularly exclusives. I think they'd sell like hot cakes.

Just give us characters from these movies and all is good with the world
The Great Mouse Detective
Meet the Robinsons
The Black Cauldron
Robin Hood
Sword in the Stone

Or maybe give us a Disney TV mini line
Gargoyles
Darkwing Duck
Goof Troop
Gummi Bears
Ducktales
Bonkers

But I want most of those in POP form too :D :D :D

We're due to get a Dreamworks tin set soon, so they're definitely snowballing with them.
