I count 15 figures, and I highly bet that we'll see HT exclusives as well.

Not mad at all with the swaps compared to the concept scan from earlier. Though Gigantor would've been cool. Excited nonetheless.

It's strange that the announcement on the Funko blog says Morpheus and Gigantor are part of the series but they're not in the pictures. Oops. The writing also doesn't mention Godzilla, which is the one I'm most excited for. He looks fantastic!

Yeah the three they swapped out - Mandalore, Gigantor and Morpheus will almost certainly be the HT exclusives. For someone living outside the US like me that's really annoying as they'll be very expensive to get on the secondary market!

The new figures look great though I love Doc Brown and Godzilla.

It looks like this is a 15 character series as well rather than 12 or 17 - which I think is the first one. I'll be interested to see what the ratios are for these.

This set looks great! The new additions are awesome! I love Doc Brown.

I hope Mangalore, Morpheus, and Gigantor still see release.

I still wish they could do six inch versions of the bigger characters like Godzilla, Voltron, and Iron Giant. Maybe for future SDCC exclusives? ;-)

Hooray! As long as Gigantor is still being made, exclusive or not, I'm happy.
Alien Queen doesn't look as good as the promo art, but that's alright. I still can't wait for this one too! Doc Brown was a great addition!

Anyone have a higher res photo of the figures? Those seem a bit low res. Not sure what's up with that.

Just like the Horror Series 2, I was strongly looking forward to the Science Fiction Series 2 Mystery Minis! I made a comparison image in case anyone was interested. Note that the bottom picture is blurry so not as much detail as shown. I wish they'd release a high resolution image of the figures, but that never seems to happen for Mystery Minis.

Overall I'm happy with them. Some turned out not as good as I'd hope, but I do like the addition of Doc Brown. As a Godzilla fan, I don't care for the design they chose for Godzilla, but at least he's in there like many hoped for. I look forward to the inevitable Gigantor mini though!
