Planning on buying some and giving them to my mom and sister for Christmas presents, sounds selfish but I know if they get Voltron or Godzilla they would let me have them, kind of devious I know.

I have yet to see these anywhere. Are they only at GameStop right now? Honestly, Bender is the only one I really want. Maybe Doc Brown...

I preordered from Toy Wars and they haven't even gotten them yet, so they're only at GameStop for now from what I can see. The Benders are on the bottom row, I believe they're in the very back. There are two in every case, so anyone who buys a full case will have an extra one.

Personally I think they should have made the other 1/6 something else where multiples would not be a bad thing...more than one Cylon works because there are many Cylons...but there's only one Bender! They should have made the other 1/6 a T800 exoskeleton or the Mangalores from Fifth Element or something similar.

I couldn't agree more! I'm fine with multiple Cylons, but I don't really need more than one Bender. I was just thinking this morning that more than one Mangalore would have been better than multiple Benders. I would even almost take another Borg over Bender, even though I know this Borg is specifically Picard. At least there are lots of Borgs.

I think I'll paint my other Bender gold to represent the alternate Earth version. Or maybe remove the cigar, add a goatee, and call him Flexo.

Flexo will be my goal with the other Bender. He'll be my first self-made custom.

Funko should only make dupes possible for things that are nameless...like generic creatures, robots where there's more than one, soldiers like stormtroopers and white walkers. Those things should never be rares, people will have fun with little armies of them...but not armies of Benders.

Well at least they should be easy to get (minus Gold Bender). Zoidberg is kind of nice, might try to get him.

Also sad to see no Morpheus, Gigantor, or Mangalore. Oh well...

Yeah, I'm bummed there's none of the ones that we thought, but I will grab a "multipass Leeloo" and Zoidberg since the ratios are so low. Gold Bender isn't worth my time or money though.

Agreed. They should have made a Godzilla variant, like Burning Godzilla or something, at least. Though hunting him down would be a paint in the keester (and wallet).

At least they replaced the common Benders with Zoidberg in the HT cases. I can't take another common Bender.

EDIT: I'm still holding out hope for a Loot Crate exclusive of some type with fingers crossed for Morpheus.

Depends if you want to sign up for Loot Crate or get one on eBay. Prices will always be high when they first come out, but Series 1 Mal has been cheap lately, but he has been released for a long while. I got a brand new sealed box of him for $6.99 shipped from eBay a couple of months back.

Stopped by HT tonight and they had received 3 cases of these. Someone bought 1 case and then apparently someone went in with a scale and picked the couple he wanted. I guess I shouldn't have assumed all the boxes would be returned to their original case, but I did. I only want 4 from this set (both Leeloos, Kirk and Lazarus) so I picked 6 from 1 case and ended up with 2 Locutus, 2 Neo, a cylon and a Doc Brown. Oh well. I swear I have the worst luck with these things. If anyone wants to trade let me know!

Low ratios on Leeloo and Zoidberg make me very happy. I'm pretty thrilled to see that the 1/72 is one that, while a fine variant, isn't a "must-have." I may have to pick up a second Leeloo for my dad. He doesn't go in for collectibles like these, but The Fifth Element is his favorite movie.

Got a case of these today. Good news I got the Kane w/facehugger, Godzilla, and Queen Alien. Bad news is no Doc Brown (or Voltron, but him I could take or leave - I won't be buying anymore trying to get him, but I would have kept him if I had gotten him in this case). Angry news is not only did I get two Benders (neither of which I wanted), but I also got two silver Cylons (again, neither of which I wanted).

That's because Bender and Cylon Centurian are both 1/6 to a case.

Unfortunately with a 1/6 ratio, every untouched non-HT case is guaranteed 2 Benders and 2 Cylons.
