Christmas Stocking Stuffer Mystery Minis

Great things come in mysterious miniature or pint sized packages, but which great thing will it be? It's all a mystery until you open one. Then the fun begins.

Christmas Stocking Stuffer Mystery Minis

Postby sylin » Wed Nov 04, 2015 8:29 am

I'd love it if Funko made some sort of set that's Christmas themed (at least on the packaging) and with the intention to use as stocking stuffers. We already get the horror series as a Halloween set of sorts, I'd love X-Mas representation as well.

What would you like to see in a set like this? A specific series? Or maybe a mix of different series but with a Christmas theme?

Well, you do have two series of A Nightmare Before Christmas! I'd also love to see A Christmas Story making it to MM's.
If you have/know of any Mystery Mini Protos for sale please PM me. Thanks!

A Christmas classics collection would be kind of cool if we could get some of the classic TV special characters.

They made some minis last year, if I remember the packaging had snowflakes and was sold in stocking stuffer section at target. I could see them maybe doing x mas mystery minis and selling in same section. I think the year before they sold mini DC bobble heads in that target section. I would take holiday Dorbz too

I remember that they sold these Pocket Pop-like Christmas ornaments last year, yes. I think Mystery Minis would be more fun due to the 'blind luck' factor, plus there's potential for more variety. I think the ornaments were only available in 4 styles (Ariel, Spider-Man, Maleficent (?), and Iron Man (?)).

They could make an entire set just on the Island of Misfit Toys

I think the Misfit Toys would be great Mystery Mini stocking stuffers.

Just curious, has anyone seen those Pop ornaments or anything else Pop related in Target's stocking stuffers section?

I didn't notice them the other day when I was looking through my local target. I'll have to give it a look again tonight when I head there in a little bit.

Wow, I love that idea!! My kids are older now (13, 19 and 21) and it's not as easy finding stocking stuffers they don't think are stupid lol

Any Christmas set has to have Buddy the Elf. I would have to have NBC characters and Bumble. They are my favorites. Ralphie in his bunny suit would be a great MM.

We would need the California Raisins from the Claymation Christmas and maybe Emmet Otter from the Jug band Christmas

I'd be down for some of the Peanuts gang, "Merry Christmas Charlie Brown" style.

I would love Christmas minis. This is such a good idea. There's a bunch of really great movies and tv specials that you can pull from for great picks. Island of misfit toys could be its own wave, but there is so much that this could be a yearly series just like the horror ones.

- Santa is the easiest one and to be honest you could do a bunch of different versions based on which art style you'd want (plus variants!)
- the Grinch. I'd want this one so much
- Rudolph the red nosed reindeer- another easy one! There could probably be some easy variants there
- Frosty the Snow Man
- Peanuts could be 2-3 characters (heck, you could even just make the tree and I'd be thrilled)

I better stop here, it's not even Halloween yet. I can't get into the Christmas spirit yet!

Agreed 100% with everything you wrote. I'm surprised Funko hasn't had a set like this already.
