Star Wars Mystery Minis?

Great things come in mysterious miniature or pint sized packages, but which great thing will it be? It's all a mystery until you open one. Then the fun begins.

Yeah, bobbles would deter me from buying. Crossing fingers.

Oh please please please let this happen. Something easy like Gamestop exclusive or B&N exclusive versions. I'd go for regular and flocked versions of all of them.

I absolutely LOVE the idea of some vehicles in MM form, but size wise, the footprint it takes up on shelf space would be a lot bigger than a standing mini. I've already basically capped out my regular display area, and am having to get really creative. And SW minis are a must buy for me.

as a huge SW fan I have a few thoughts on these. on one hand, I'm very excited but at the same time I:
a) don't want bobbles
b) don't want them styled ike the Disney line. I prefer the Sci Fi series style
c) assuming the above, am scared for my wallet

I'm not 100% sure, but I think it's because if they don't bobble they are technically "action figures". And Disney has an exclusive deal with Hasbro for action figures. No offense to anyone that's a fan, but those Vinylmation things are just ugly...

If they do turn out to be Bobbles, I'll pass. They just don't ever seem as detailed to me. I also would be hesitant if they have 1/6's. That set up is lame.
I'm still curious as to how they will look regardless.
I tried to quit, then Fallout 4 minis happened.

Yes.

You could ad in the Slave-1, the Death Star, Luke's speeder from tatooine, the speeder bikes from Endor.

I would be so in to this.

Micro Machines already exist (and are making a comeback of sorts). So I don't think vehicles are an option.

And yeah it's unlikely, but being bobbles would be a dealbreaker for me unfortunately. If they kept them in line (style wise) like the Bethesda, Batman v Superman, and Suicide Squad, I will probably go crazy for these.

I get being able to army build which is nice to an extent. I know I am not the only one with a squad of Cylons! ;-) However, with as big as the Star Wars universe is they shouldn't have any dupes or simple re-paints in the set.

I'd also be ok with 1/6s provided they are "army builders" any flavor Storm/Clonetrooper, Rebel & Fleet Troopers, Pilots, etc

Ideally, that's what we'd get, but this is Funko and sometimes they just throw in the random 1/6's like with Harry Potter where we got 2 Hermione's a case. Hopefully though we won't see any 1/6's until later on.

I'd love a full army of Stormtroopers to go with a Vader mini. It'd be easier to do than with the Pops lol

I wouldn't mind if they decided to change up the styles for different sets depending on what they are. I think the cute style could be fun for a small set of core characters and things that lend themselves to being possibly cute like Chewbacca, Ewoks, Jawa, etc. But I would also like some more stylized ones as well, especially with the level of detail they have been getting on minis lately for droids and creatures. There is such a huge market for Star Wars minis I don't see why there couldn't be multiple sets with multiple styles. Looking forward to seeing what they come up with!

Can anyone explain why they would have the be bobbleheads? I am not a fan of these at all and wont buy them for that reason, they have plenty of disney sets that arent bobbleheads. Please explain someone.....

Funko does not have the rights to make "action figures" for Star Wars (and Marvel) so they make their figures bobbleheads to get around that. Otherwise they wouldn't be able to make them at all. They also have to have the stands on the Pops so I'm not sure how it's going to work for the minis.
