Is it easy to order a full, sealed box from Hot Topic? I have never done that before. Do you just ask the employees/manager?

I think that I'm going to need help with the Hot Topic ones. I will have extras of the common set to trade.

It's pretty much impossible to order a sealed case from them. Your best bet is to go in and ask them to notify you/hold the next case they receive. The manager doesn't even order the store's product - it just gets pushed to them from the warehouse (based on past sales/current promotions?)

and an extra Nagini to trade only for either draco or voldemort.

For those who have found these in the wild, are any of you on the east coast?

I found them in NC and VA today as I was driving home from visiting family. They are in game stops computer system now so if you call your local store and ask they can let you know if anywhere nearby has them. It was pretty sporadic.

Got a fresh case today at a Gamestop in NJ. Same deal...they checked their computers and only one store in my area had them.

I was at Heroes VIllains Fan Fest this weekend in NJ and one of the booths selling Funko items had a full case. My girlfriend pulled a Nagini and Dobby, and her friend a Fang.

Have yet to see them anywhere else store-wise

By the time we got to H&V FF, they only had two boxes left. I skipped them.

Figured I'd pop in a few stores tomorrow as I didn't think places would be getting shipment today cause of the 4th. Where in Jersey have they been spotted? I'm in Central and haven't seen them yet.

I seen the box too at HVFF but didn't have the layout so I left it alone. It was a regular case too. I was seriously considering purchasing the whole case but decided against it.

Forbidden Planet in NYC has them. They had a ton of cases. I am going to head over there at lunch. I can let you all know if they have more in stock

Especially since we usually get them a week or two after the first sightings. The guy I talked to said that they'd had them for a few days too. He printed out a list of the stores within 100 miles that had them; there were about eight stores in Illinois, one in Indiana, and four in Wisconsin. Maybe they're assuming Harry Potter will be one of the most popular series?

FYI - Forbidden Planet in NYC must have purchased a ton of these, I went and got another case - I scored Mcgonagall, Draco and Voldemort. Just need Fawkes and Mcgon's cat transfiguration.

Wasn't it Celeste (a99kitten) who bought a "case" of Big Bang Theory minis on eBay awhile ago and ended up with a bunch of duplicates of just four of the minis in the set? Or something close to that.

Either way, definitely be cautious of buying cases on eBay, sellers know case layouts too and can easily unload all the stuff they don't want as a "full" case.

I don't remember who, just that they did have the switchero pulled. They managed to resolve the issue though, but still not worth the hassle.

I know I traded some of mine/bought some from Celeste awhile ago but I think she's still stuck with a bunch of duplicates, those were when cases were 24 (or maybe 18?) I think too.

Could very well have been. I know I've traded her for some of her extra TBBT minis.
