Anime Mystery Minis Series 3

I was bored tonight and decided to write up a little list of what I'd like to see in a future anime mystery minis set.

I used the 1/12 ratio since that's what's been established before for this specific line. Also I tried to go for a mix of classics and newer stuff that can appeal to both nostalgic and modern fans.

Sailor Moon
Sailor Mercury
Sailor Mars
Sailor Jupiter
Sailor Venus (I chose to include the five inner senshi mostly because I think they'd be in high demand, and it'd be nice to get them in a mix along with other anime characters, and might make this set more attractive to fans)
Kaneki Ken (from Tokyo Ghoul, included him because TG was originally going to be included in one of the previous waves)
Shizuo Heiwajima (DRRR!!)
Izaya Orihara (DRRR!!)
Koro-sensei (Assassination Classroom)
Akame (Akame Ga Kill)
Edward Elric (FMA)
Alphonse elric (armor version, FMA)

Here's a few other characters, either to act as chases/exclusives or as substitutes in case having all five of the SM leads is a bit much.

Ryuuko Matoi (Kill La Kill)
Shinichi Izumi (Parasyte, I imagine his hand would have Migi on it)
Rin Okumura (Blue Exorcist)
Spike Spiegel (Cowboy Bebop, timeless character in there)

Any other suggestions? Who'd you like to see in a possible series 3?

I'd be down for pretty much anyone from FMA or Cowboy Bebop. I'd also like All of Section 9 from Ghost in the Shell(SAC), even a Tachikoma! Mugen, Jin, and Fuu from Samurai Champloo.

The only way I would want to see Ryuko Matoi is if it was with Senketsu Senjin form. If its just base Senketsu (schoolgirl outfit) then thats gonna be a let down! lol

Oh man, I think they may have to start putting age restrictions on these after that! ;-)

Although, I guess Motoko Kusanagi's "outfits" may be a problem too.

These are all great choices. =D>

Ed and Spike, specifically, seem like no-brainers due to their status in the anime fandom.

Not sure how licensing right would go for any of these properties, but I'd be stoked for any characters from:

Armitage
Gantz
Cowboy Bebop
Trigun
Case Closed
Fullmetal Alchemist
Burst Angel
Desert Punk
Black Lagoon
FLCL
Gungrave
Gunslinger Girl
Ikki Tousen
Lupin III
Ghost in the Shell
Space Dandy
I also wouldn't mind seeing more characters from Attack on Titan as well.

Definitely key FMA and Bebop characters, as well as Sailor Moon.
I'd mainly love to see Gon & Killua from Hunter x Hunter and Shinichi & Conan from Detective Conan/Case Closed.
Some others are Trigun, Hellsing, Hetalia, GetBackers, Saiyuki.
I'd also be over the moon if they ever made Balsa from Moribito.

I agree with FMA, would love some Ed and Al, along with Roy, Hughes and Armstrong.
Would also like to see One-Punch Man (Saitama and Genos)
Hunter X Hunter, especially Killua and Hisoka
Code Geass (Karen, CC and Lelouch)
Darker Than Black (Hei, along with masked version)
Gurren Lagann (Simon, Kamina, Yoko)
FSN (Rider, Archer, Gilga)

I can't believe I forgot Trigun! I'd be willing to pay in double-dollars. ;-)

Getbackers is a good one too. I don't read manga so I don't know how much there is for them, but I loved the anime series. Wished there was more for them.

Still really hopeful we'll get more anime minis, and I do wonder just how successful the anime lines actually do for Funko.

I mean, I am guessing it's good since there's evidence we're getting more DBZ and also Cowboy Bebop Pops in the future. Still, I'd really like to see the anime lines expand past just Pops and delve into the other merch Funko sells like more mystery minis, Pint Sized Heroes, pens, buttons, etc.

Samurai Champloo
Ghost in the Shell
Cowboy Bebop
Fullmetal Alchemist
Big O

If any of those got minis I may have to get some!

I think what might keep it out of the running is that most people seem to have forgotten it. It hasn't quite had the enduring fan love that the likes of Sailor Moon, Cardcaptor Sakura, and Ouran possess.

OMG I can't even think of Fruits Basket without tearing up sometimes though. It's a great series.

THIS would pull me in. Human and zodiac versions of all! And all three versions of Kyo.

Those might be tougher for them to license and produce, especially for individual sets. Perhaps in a mixed set there's more of a chance, though I expect they will stick to mainstream/popular stuff.

HxH is definitely a possibility, due to its popularity and airing on Toonami.

Same with shows like Jojo, Blue Exorcist, One Punch Man, Gundam, Tokyo Ghoul (coming soon...), and FLCL (it's getting a revival).
