Pint Size Heroes?

Great things come in mysterious miniature or pint sized packages, but which great thing will it be? It's all a mystery until you open one. Then the fun begins.

Pint Size Heroes?

Postby PopGoestheJess » Mon Aug 15, 2016 4:46 pm

I don't know where else to put this. If this is the wrong place, please move it, Mods.

They are technically minis and a mystery ( blind bags )

I want all of DC and Spider-Man.

These look awesome! Lovin' the DC ones and a few of the Spiderman ones are nice too. No Scarlet Spider?

I'll definitely be tracking these down.
I bought a Mystery Mini and thought it was cool. Now I have shelves covered in Funko vinyl products. What Happened?

I wish they weren't blind bags. :(

I want to know what the case quantities are to get an idea of possible duplicates. Also, Hot Topic and GameStop will have exclusives. Eh.

I don't think these are going to come like MMs, it looks like they're packed in containers more like Monster High minis, if you know what I'm talking about. Those sleeves that hang on endcaps? There will be over 100 to a sleeve I think; these are only 1.5" tall.

ETA: I'm mistaken, I think they may be packed more like MyMojis and will sit on a shelf.

These look amazing, especially the Spider-Man set. It's also awesome to see Batman Beyond and Two-Face.

Crossing my fingers that these take off, and we get more lines like anime and Disney!

Such a shame because I love my lil Mymojis. I didn't bother buying retail though, I bought the full set of three Harleys on ebay. They're quite lovely and stand pretty well. I dont understand the silly little emoji promo they ran with it though, that was kinda dumb... The pint size heroes look like they'll be a huge hit at least - even though I'm not a fan of the name.

You didn't need to text anything, you can get them all for free using the Quidd app on your phone. It's like a digital sticker trader and whichever you collect in app you can use on your keyboard.

Ugh...they are like cute little mini Dorbz, except with more expression. Not a fan of blind boxes really, but I might pick up a few of the Spider-Man ones, depending on the price. If they are only 2-3 bucks, no problem, but anymore than that and they are too close to Dorbz which I'd rather buy. I have learned though, to never say never!! :P

PS: Where's Carnage? I'd rather him than Anti-Venom, NOT that I'm complaining, to be clear! :D

Tried to zoom in on the boxes but could not make anything out.
These things are 1.5" - 2" and the box looks no bigger than the MyMoji. Unless the box is bigger than I perceive, I would not expect more than 15-20 figures per box (the set is 15 figures).

I love these! Really digging the Spiderman set! Gonna be a pain to get the HT and GS exclusives but I'll get them somehow. Hoping for a Star Wars and Disney set down the line. Also, hopefully some of the characters that aren't in POP! form get the treatment because of this line.

Up for pre-order at BBTS.
Looks like the price is $4.99 each or $79.99 per case (24 figures per case). That breaks down to $3.33 each if you purchase a case.

I don't know, I definitely prefer their design over Dorbz. They have a lot more personality, and seem to have a bit more freedom in terms of their molds and patterns. Like a lot of you, though, I don't like the fact that they're blind bags, but hopefully BECAUSE they're in bags we'll be able to feel around for the ones we want a la LEGO Minifigures.

I'm assuming we'll get one of these in the Spider-Man MCC, which I'm actually perfectly okay with! Again, I'd rather get one of these than a Dorbz lol And some of the Batman ones look nothing short of stunning. I mean, just look at that Two-Face!

Image

Looking at the diversity in the characters also gets me extraordinarily excited. Look at the Batman lineup, for example. We already have Pops of literally every single character in the series except for Spider-Woman, Lizard, and Black Cat. Does that mean that Pops of these characters are coming soon? Because I've been putting stock into a Black Cat Pop for years now!

Image

I can see how people wouldn't exactly love these (thoughts of MyMojis come to mind), but I think they're a "huge" step up from Dorbz, personally.

Really like these, but at $4.99 each, I'm not sure I can collect them and keep going with Mystery Minis, Dorbz, and the occasional Pop!. My budget is already stretched pretty thin. Still, those Batman ones are really tempting. Might have to bite the bullet and order a case off those to check them out in person.

I love these a lot more than the mymojis, I didn't like that they were only heads. The price point isn't too bad seeing as they're around the same price as those blind bag keychains. I'm definitely going to need to collect the DC one and a few of the Spiderman ones.

I was thinking the same thing. Almost pre-ordered a regular case in hopes to trade for some of the exclusives but it seems everyone will have those doubles.

As long as they don't add some kind of cardboard cover, the Harley's should be easy to find (feel for the pigtails lol)
It's that Batman/Batgirl exclusive that will be tough to determine

They're $3.99, according to Toywiz.
