Oh man, I'm glad I held off on the Q-bert and Pac Man POPs! I grabbed my favs, Clyde and the blue Ghost (not Inky) but couldn't get myself to pull the trigger on the rest so I'll have no reservations on ordering a case of these. they look sooo awesome!

Funko did say they weren't showing anything exclusive and with mystery minis there is always a few exclusive characters only at hot topic, gamestop or Walmart so I'm gonna guess there will be more retro minis they haven't shown yet.
Awesome, I didn't hear that. Very good news

How will exclusives work, if there is no mystery?
Will you just have to be first in line at HT etc? Seems like a bit of a headache and an eBay mark up merchants dream. Dig through all the boxes you can lay your hands on and buy the exclusives. They won't even have to take the trouble to work out / research the layouts...

Since I own an actual "Space Invaders" arcade game, I am kind of wishing there is an exclusive from that.

What's funny is that Sunday night I pulled the trigger on a full set of Ghosts Pops. Thankfully it was a really good deal ($6 each shipped) so I can't complain. Regardless, I'm still getting all of these as I looooove the characters.

Kidrobot currently has the license for blind boxed mini figures so I don't think we'll see that happen.

Yeah, I figured as such. KR makes some quality minis.

Re: Retro Video Game Mystery Minis
I honestly can't see why Funko would limit the longevity of this particular line by making different characters as exclusives. Lets use Pac-Man/Ms as an example, I would think the majority of people will want all 5 individual ghosts plus a blue/scared ghost. Instead of a diffent ghost, it'd make more sense to have an exclusive be:
a different facial expressions for the ghosts in the wave
a "phasing" version - to simulate the power pill taking effect and changing it blue
translucent
GitD
granted, if the individual box is an indicator of the game the mini inside is from, then we're screwed. Are we certain there will be store exclusives as opposed to just general release rares?

that's rough, but at least you got a great deal on them. The POPs are cool and I intended to get them all but once I saw that the ghosts were all the same, I balked. I understand there isn't much that could've been done to differentiate them but at least do something different with the arms/hands so I don't feel like I'm buying the same figure 4 times.

Can't wait for these! Love the designs and the boxes. Hope we at least get general variants like all the pac-man ghosts, ect. Looks like I'm in for a case! Also kinda glad I held off of the pops of pac-man and q-bert.

When I was a teenager our Ortho had Space Invaders and it was a highlight to go to an appointment because I got to sit in the waiting area and play to my heart's content before going in.

Looks like they added Mega-Man. He was on the box art in the original glam but wasn't one of the 3D figures in the glam.

They added the actual Mega Man figure but removed the Galaga ship. Must be an exclusive...maybe GS?

Kind of bumming there is only the one Megaman mini. Dig Dug has 3, Pac-Man has 4 (and you know there will be at least the other 2 ghosts as exclusives), Q-Bert has 2... maybe a couple more Megaman characters as exclusives?
Heck GameStop could have their own full case of exclusives...

Still confused about the Galaga ship that was in the initial pic. Not sure if the license fell through or if will be an exclusive.

Mega-Man gets enough love with all the Pop and Dorbz variants. Time to give other games some Funko love!

True but not all of us collect the Pops & Dorbz (insert myself here). Megaman could easily be the Universal Monsters of the Retro Game minis with 2-3 characters per series. That wouldn't be overkill but also create a nice little niche at the same time.
