I like the idea and I will probably get them, but I kind of wish they weren't grey'd out. I understand the reasoning and the intent, but I really wanted lots of these characters to display with the rest of my TWD minis. I'm afraid they might look out of place.

Oh well. Still happy to be getting more minis!

It's interesting that they aren't as grayscale as the GOT In Memoriam ones, because I'd imagine some will be released as full-color pre-death figures in future assortments.

Then again, the lack of consistency means that if they do Star Wars In Memoriam, they can release bags of ash for Owen and Beru and nobody will think those are out of place...

Top: tdog, Andrea, dale, wolves, Denise, Sophia
Middle: Garett, Glenn, jessie, ????, lizzie, lorie
Bottom: Merle, mika, zombie Sophia, Nicolas, Shane, San, abe

I haven't bought these sets precisely because some of my favorites (Andrea, Dale, Shane) from the early days weren't represented...and WOW. I'm so in!

I mean...Lizzie, Mika, Sophia, Jessie, Deanna, TDog, Denise, Lori? WOW.

And my beloved Andrea. <3

I just hope these come in color, too? I'd really like to see most of these folks "alive", especially the originals: Andrea, Dale, Lori, Sophia & Shane.

Kind of want them cause I like TWD variants, but man, thats a lot of minis and I dont really buy many minis. They are pretty dope.

You can always repaint any duplicates you get!

Love these! Especially Walker Merle! I'd love color versions of some of them, but re painting duplicates might be a good idea as synergy mentioned.

awesome. I was wondering when we were going to see series 5 revealed.

if these are, in fact, all greyscale I'll be attempting to complete 2 sets and repaint one into "living color". If there are living versions as variants (or vice versa...which I think I'd prefer) then I'll probably still be getting 2 sets anyway. Bravo Funko, you got me to double dip on the whole series lol

My mom is a collector of TWD minis, so I'll have to grab some for her when they come out!
I don't really collect them, but I actually want a full set of these! I love the washed-out look of them, and I love the concept in general.

I feel like Gareth and Joe shouldn't have been in this set. Or Nicholas for that matter. I know technically "In Memorium" is really for any dead character, but I tend to associate it with people that we will remember fondly and miss. Those three are more of a "good riddance" for me. I think Noah or Bob or Tyreese or a bunch of other people we actually liked would have been better for this.

Glad I'm not the only 1 who feels li,e this. I was telling Wes last night this very same thing. Garreth really???? Sigh but as a mini collector completionest I will be buying the whole set.. :eek:

Couldn't agree less. I love that Funko is giving us all these characters we normally wouldn't get. infact they can replace Abe, Glenn and Beth and give us more never before made characters. Can't wait for Dale, Jesse Anderson and Shane.

I'm with you, prices on ebay are friggin ridiculous! I've been wondering if Funko could do a different version of Rosita and Eugene as commons. the HT exclusives would still be "special" but then everyone could have the character.
