Star Wars Mystery Minis: Toy Fair Reveal!

Great things come in mysterious miniature or pint sized packages, but which great thing will it be? It's all a mystery until you open one. Then the fun begins.

I have to agree I didn't want bobble heads, however Star Wars mini anything wins my heart. Even if Chewbacca does look like he is from a cheesy horror film.

Great assortment. I really like how the whole wave is themed to just one film. I would imagine R2 will be in the ESB wave.

It wouldn't work out so well for me I would still want to hug him and would end up with my head ripped off.

The Han and Greedo would look cute displayed together.

Even though I don't generally like the mini bobbles, the power of The Force is pushing me to get these anyway.

Curse my metal body!

I hope the Shadow Trooper is one of the rares, because I have absolutely no interest in him. He's the only one in the line I really don't care about.

Don't forget they only generally reveal commons at Toy Fair which means there might be many more out there as store exclusives (which would explain the lack of r2 and such)

It was announced on Episode 9 of the Funko Funkast that the Star Wars Mystery Minis shown in the NY Toy Fair catalogue are only concept art and are NOT the final character place holders. Characters may change before release.

I'm excited for these but I'm thinking there's going to be a lot of waves if they keep doing 1 series per film!

You folks seen the FYE pre-order? Not sure if this really is exclusive, but, only one per order. http://www.fye.com/s/product/4722882/ST ... CHASE-VFIG

Thanks for posting - I think that's the first I've seen them up anywhere. That said....
$8.99?! They're even more than the minis at Hot Topic! And I usually get some kind of discount at Hot Topic! What is the world coming to? Remember the good old days when Pops actually cost less than that too?!

And why only one per pre-order unless this is an exclusive. By nature, people are likely to buy more than one mystery at a time.

Looks like you can order a max of two. I just pre-ordered. Hopefully there's some sort of exclusive involved, but given how bad FYE's supply can be, worth taking a flyer. Ridiculous shipping though. I could drive to an FYE, pick these up, drive to walmart to buy a box and bubble wrap (and tape), package them up, drive to the post office, and ship them to myself for cheaper than what they are charging.

That's like last year when Barnes and Noble had a limit of 2 on the Harry Potter minis online. Makes sense for Pops, but not for minis!

I guess I'm in for another Mystery Minis line! These look awesome. I really hope they don't go bonkers with exclusives and/or rares.

Also, still no R2-D2

shall we start taking bets on who the rares are?

I'm guessing Tarkin, Snaggletooth and Shadow Trooper

Now I really want to see what the Dorbz look like, and REALLY REALLY want to know if possibly any Star Wars PSH are in the works. I think I may only get a very few of the minis since my Star Wars collecting is out of control. I will have to get the Leia and Han though. That's just a given :)

I was wondering about that. I looked like they may in the pics, but I wasn't sure. I would be really impressed if there were Rebel or Imperial logos on them depending on the characters.
