Harry Potter Series 2 (Mystery Minis)

Great things come in mysterious miniature or pint sized packages, but which great thing will it be? It's all a mystery until you open one. Then the fun begins.

Nice! Hope you find your last couple to complete the set :) Hot Topic needs to hurry up and restock so we can all score some Buckbeaks lol

I was tempted when I found it for $80 on ebay, but even then I was like "I'll wait for restocks" but now they haven't in awhile and the price just keeps growing ;_; But I'm holding out for hope!

Keep the hope alive!! They'll restock eventually. It took months for series 1 for B&N to restock, but they did eventually. It has to happen for series 2 as well!

I really don't think another restock is going to happen, at least for HT. Some HTs had already gotten a restock a few weeks ago but there doesn't seem to be much since then. :(

I'm hoping that's not the case because we pretty much all need Buckbeak lol

My HT didn't say anything about not getting a restock at all, but they also haven't gotten restocked, so not sure.

I just hit my HT, grabbed two sans scale, just hand feel- they were all pretty heavy. Got home and weighed them, a 74 g and a 66 g... I already have Hermione and Ron and I was dreading a second Ron (my first was 73 g), but the 66 is quite likely Snape who I frankly would rather avoid.

One of the (unopened) boxes will be in a raffle prize basket at a fantasy-themed Halloween party, so I had to pick... I bit the bullet and opened the 74 g. Harry! I managed the sorting hat trio without dupes!

So, how do you order full, unopened cases from Barnes and Noble and Hot Topic?
And, if I am looking for a specific box (A,B, C etc...) is there a way to see which one it is?

I went into Toy's R Us the other day. What a nightmare! All their boxes had the plastic ripped off and many had been opened and re-glued!! I guess they will take them back no questions....

Bravo! I kept opening Rons! After my 5th one, I gave up and traded for a Hermione, and bought a Harry on ebay. It got old really quickly!

Your best bet is to make good friends with people at those stores, and/or call every day asking if they have any news of a restock. To see what letter it is, you basically have to catch them when they are opening it from the outside box (or if they will tell you).

Toys R Us seems to have a problem with things being opened :( Mine typically has the pint size heroes ripped opened.

Also, went to Target the other day and saw an unopened box of regular series 2, so there's a new place for you to look!

Just found the box at our Target too! The DPCI according to my receipt is 323-01-0541 if that helps. It may be a shared DPCI though (not sure how to tell).

Finally got a Puff last night! Barnes and Noble had gotten two new boxes in, and one was F. The customer service person who answered the phone was able to hold me the box.

Also, verified that at Target, the Harry Potter ones are a shared DPCI. So hard to check stock online for that.

Getting closer! I also just need Buckbeak, but the only one up on ebay went for $150 last I checked, and there are no others up. I should have picked him up for $80 when he was up I guess. I figured I would get at least another restock but no luck so far.

I pillaged four Barnes & Noble cases trying to find Neville and wound up with a Ginny quartet. Still looking for Neville, Buckbeak, Cornish Pixie, Merpeople and Sirius. Please send help!

The Selkie is only in the common case A. Common cases can be found at Toys R Us, Target, Box Lunch, and anywhere else that isn't Hot Topic or Barnes and Noble (since they have their own exclusives). As far as where it is in the case, I am not sure exactly, but it's in the middle rows.

Thanks! But was really referring to case layout. Not looking for any exclusives. I’ve exhausted the two fresh cases in my local TRU but no luck.

I believe it's bottom middle right, but not positive. If this layout I saw awhile back is right, it will be by the pigwidegon.

Hello, everyone, relative Funko newbies (husband/wife) here. Had no idea people had it down to a science with kitchen scales (which, btw, is AWE-SOME). As we've been going in pretty much blind so far, we've got a fair few doubles, namely about four Harrys in hat, one Ron in hat, one Snape and one Series 1 Harry. Were wondering if anyone around here would be interested in trades (we live in Michigan). Wife really wants a pygmy puff, but there are still a bunch we're missing from either set.

Cheers!

I don't sorry :( I ended up trading for some of the ones I needed. But I hope you are able to find some! The Barnes and Nobles restocked by me, you could try by you too. I used the website to see if a store had items in stock (it doesn't tell you a quantity, but tells you if they have any). The Barnes and Noble exclusives are all light compared to the Snapes/hat kids so it makes it a little easier to find them. Neville and Ginny are in the mid to upper 50s, while the creatures are all in the mid to upper 30s.

I am really going to put a stop to buying these things - way too much money spent over the last month on these boxes. :-) It's so frustrating, too, because I should have found this site ages ago and learned about the weights - wouldn't have so many hatted Harry/Rons. I've tried to shake the boxes on the assumption that the hats won't move around as much, but that hasn't yielded much joy. So now I need to shift my dupes before I buy more. Still have four coming (two online from B&N on BF sale for $3.75 each and two picked up today but won't open quite yet, one a 40-something, one a 60-something, hopefully not Snape, Lupin or Luna). Will post weights and results when I open.

My HT ran out of cases before I could get one so I opted buying 12 off the site in hopes of getting a case but did not. I ended up with mostly Buckbeaks and no exclusives at all. I even tried buying from B&N but still nothing. Am disappointed in the amount of commons out of this set. I love Hp and have the complete first set and all the pops, but am just put out in trying any more for this one.

Errrr -- Buckbeak is the exclusive that everyone wants, so if you ended up with a ton of those then you should be excited. You can easily trade for other exclusives.

Umm...Woooo for Buckbeak?..lol Time to put them all up on Evilbay for triple the amount.
In all honesty I forced them on anyone that took more than a minute to think about if they wanted him or not. I was the Oprah of Buckbeaks! You get a Buckbeak and you get a Buckbeak! You all get Buckbeaks!!

Do you still have anymore buckbeak? my friend needs him bad, I have both Weasley twins for trade
Call me Tiger..... I mean Mike
