Disney Afternoon Minis.

this one has been my most wanted mini announcement since I learned minis existed. And not only do they exist but they aren't even in that darn new "hands at their sides" generic pose that the newer Disney stuff has been stuck in.

I think these are going to hit big along with the Duck Tales revival. The Rescue Rangers are pretty cool too.

That Gadget mini is 100% my favorite thing Funko has ever produced. I haven't bought minis in awhile but I'm pretty sure I will need a full set of these.

This set in particular does not interest me but I'm so glad that we have a Disney series that isn't using the awful new style. The Disney series 2 was amazing, along with the con exclusives. Look at peasant Belle, beast, buzz and Donald Duck from that series. They actually look like the character, have unique poses, and are made out of solid material. The new ones all have the same pose and feel extremely cheap. Hopefully this is a step in the right direction.

haha, I was both hoping and dreading (because I would've had to own it no matter the price) that there would've been a Darkwing Freddy this year.

I haven't seen the series 2 ones yet, but yeah the generic style is just horrible, the whole reason I personally liked Minis more than Pops from the start was that unlike pops Minis almost always had unique sculpts and they really got to shine as the individual character. really glad to see that not all the new ones are stuck in that design.

and how amazing it is we're getting all 5 of them in 1 set? really glad Zipper didn't get the shaft as that little guy was always my favorite as a kid.

the only downside I can see to this set is I want to many more. I am hoping we can see a Disney Afternoon Villains" set for wave 2 . we need Gizmo, Bubba (not villains I know, but still), some Beagles at the very least from Ducktales. Negaduck, Megavolt, Bushroot, Quackerjack & Liquidator at the very least for Darkwing. Shere Khan, Don Carnage & Louie for Tailspin. and Fat Cat with some of his gang for the Rangers to fight.

I love these!!!! My only worry is that Hewey, Dewey, and Louie will have different rarities. Looks like fifteen so far? I'd assume Hot Topic would have exclusives.

i'm thinking the boys will each be 1/36, I feel Webby is a bit of a wasted slot though and she may mess up their ratio even further if she is an additional swap out with them pushing them all to 1/48. because if you do count all 4 kids as 1 we're down to our normal case of 12.

I'm worried it'll be like the Seuss minis, with Thing 1 and Thing 2 having different ratios. If they aren't 1/12, I do hope it's something simple like 1/36 for each of them.

Yeah, I want all but one of these, and somebody has to the odd one out! But with several series represented, it also wouldn't surprise me if they made one from each series a 1/24, 1/36, or 1/72. Then you would have 10 regulars with two swapped out. Could even see one of those be a 1/6, with nine regular spots and three to swap out. Math would work rather well.

9 exclusives is going to make this one a tough completion. but aside from Negaduck I can't think of who else could be a paint variant from this group.

The rest would be more of wishes than guesses...

I would be pretty disappointed if both Darkwing variants end up being paint swaps, sure Negaduck will be awesome but Negatron isn't even really a character. the pop is cool and all but he really needs the rest of his villains.
