Star Wars: The Last Jedi Mystery Minis

Great things come in mysterious miniature or pint sized packages, but which great thing will it be? It's all a mystery until you open one. Then the fun begins.

thanks.

If you try to order a full case, most of the time they are sealed. I would make sure in the description it says "Sealed" or "Complete" in some way so that if they screw you over, you can make a claim with ebay. I've ordered full boxes on ebay several times and they have always been in tact and not picked over.

If you order individual boxes, I think they are probably picked over/weighed.

I bought a few of these from GameStop yesterday evening. As far as I can tell these cannot be removed from the bases. If they can be removed, one needs to apply more force than I am willing to. Has anyone else noticed this?

I still like the set and plan to complete it, but it is disappointing for them to take a step back in quality like this after a couple months of MM&PSH getting better and better with every set.

Wow, that would suck if they can't be pulled from their base. I store minis in tackle boxes and the bases would make the profile stand out a bit much. Even the SW Pops can be removed from their bases.

Wow... Funko decides not to screw uson ratios this time around but find another way to do it... They really are amazingly randomly consistent...

They definitely have glued bases and Gamestop is starting to roll out with their stock of Last Jedi MM.

Thank you.

Ello Asty was shot down at Starkiller Base so it's probably just another Abednedo we haven't met yet.

I guess the Walgreens 1/72 is C'ai Threnalli, a character created because they showed the Ello Asty costume near the end of TFA after they showed him getting killed at Starkiller Base.

I wonder if the glued bases is either to keep some stability in the box for lightsabers to reduce breaking or if it's a safe play against possible legal stuff from hasbro is they think these are close to action figures. Granted on the latter Funko doesn't use bases on the Marvel minis, but I'd be interested to see if they will for the next Marvel set.

You might be right given that the pegs are spaced differently. Anyone try popping one of TLJ figures from their base? I'm betting the legs are still there for stability.

Man, the glued bases really bother me. I'm thinking I'm out for this set.

Anyone tried the freezer method to pull the figure off the base? If the pegs are there, it might be a way to make them like the ANH ones.

If they are like other Mystery Minis, applying heat for a little bit should loosen them up! Not sure if that will deform the bobblehead spring though. I may do that if I get any. Curious if there are pegs still or if it soley held in place with glue.

Well this is probably not what you want to hear, but I can tell you this is going to be a very difficult set to scale. The GS Porg I pulled weighed within +/- 1 gram of 7 other figures in the same case.

For what it's worth, I'd stay away from the heaviest ones if you want to try avoiding another Phasma. The droids will probably shake more than others since they are small.
