how do you know which case it is? You said case D, but where do I see that?

On the outside of the funko shipping box. Not sure if it's on the actual display case box or not.
I ordered mine from BBTS so it came sealed in the funko box.

I watched an unboxing video earlier and chip & Dale were in the back top and bottom, so I sadly think avoiding them is going to be tricky.

Bugger... well, not that it would really be af actor over here as most stores remove them from the case to put their own pricing labels on it and put them back randomly... Both Chip and Dale are on my wish list anyways, so I'd be after them, it's just the annoyance of doubling up on a free range pick when I should really just spend some cash on a case and try to offload the doubles...

I have totally went all in on these. This is my first mystery mini set I’ve actually collected. I’ve purchased 2 cases, one from Hot Topic and one from Game Stop. These were fresh untouched cases. Here’s the Layouts.

I agree, if it wasn’t for Morgana I would have been pretty disappointed. Luckily I nailed down the exclusives and was able to move the extra nephews. I’m now down to just needing Weeby and the Toys R Us Exclusives. With how the other exclusives fell they shouldn’t be too too difficult. I don’t even want to add up how much I’ve spent so far trying to complete this set. #-o

I still haven't pulled the trigger yet but i'm very tempted. Kinda annoyed that i can't add 12 or just order a case!

I also think I screwed myself with the BBTS pile of loot option. The Mystery Minis came in first but I also wanted to wait for all the action figures to come in before shipping. Scrooge and Baloo came in but not the others. I finally got impatient and released what could be shipped the day before Thanksgiving. However, my shipment is still "processing". Ugh, I should have just let the minis ship when they arrived. I keep seeing good deals on eBay for the chase figures but until I get my case i won't know who i need. ](*,)

I went to a local Pop store that had these as a common box set and pulled the heaviest that I could feel (without using a scale) and I got Chip and Dale. -_-I've accuired Kit but still need Baloo.

While doing some Christmas shopping today I found a fresh case at TRU. I bought 3 and got a duplicate Launchpad but was able to get Louis & Shere Khan!
Just need Gadet, Morgana, Nega Duck, and the HT exclusives

I found some at TRU on Saturday. It wasn't a fresh case. Rattled a couple, and one felt like there wasn't much room in the box, so I took a chance. I got Negaduck!!! So happy!! (Then I grabbed a TTG mystery mini and got one of the 1/6 figures. Whomp whomp! Can't win them all)

I couldn't believe it myself. Hope I didn't use up all my Mystery Mini luck. Usually, I do some package rattling and weight guesstimation and end up with a duplicate.

I just got my case from BBTS!

Case D - layout

top back, left to right - Chip & chip
top middle, left to right - Hewey & Webby
top front, left to right - Gosyln & Scrooge

bottom back, left to right, Launchpad & Darkwing
bottom middle, left to right, Dale & Dale
bottom front, left to right, Monterey Jack & Kit Cloudkicker

And is it just me, or do the ones that people put up on eBay have the sloppiest paint apps? I just looked to fill in my gaps and I couldn't pull the trigger on any of them. I'm not sure if it's the zoomed in, HD pictures or what but all I see are paint smears and chips. I balked on all the Hot Topic exclusives last week and now I'm doing the same with the rest that I'm missing. :-#

As far as the ones I really wanted, Scrooge, Launchpad and Darkwing look AMAZING.

Monty has a small paint smear but I think I can fix that with the magic eraser fix. I'm just wondering if it's worth hunting down the rest. hmmmmm......

Has anyone spotted the standard case at retail? I've found these at TRU, GS, and HT, but I still need the standard Scrooge, Chip, and Dale.

I also ended up with an extra TRU King Louie and Negaduck, so those'll likely end up on the trade list later this week.
