WB Mystery Minis coming in January!

Yikes! Those ratios are rough! I was really excited for this set, but it's going to be tough to finish it.

I can kind of see the point of the 1/6 ratios though. They are popular characters, so it gives more people the opportunity to obtain them. It does stink for those of us who were maybe going to order a full case.

On a side note, can anybody think of variants to customize the 1/6 extras from this set? I've got a small army of Benders I've painted into different versions. ;-)

I don't really see it as a benefit at all though, the casual fan who might just want to try for a Bugs is probably not going to understand how ratios work anyway so they won't be any more tempted to pull and if they happen to grab 2 and get the same exact thing may never touch another mystery set again while the people like us who think about this stuff way too much are only going to be less likely to buy due to the awful ratios.

I don't think it matters whether someone understands ratios or not. It's about giving the casual collector a higher chance of getting something they want. A casual collector may buy one. So a higher chance to get the favorite is presented. I'm sure Funko has done market research on which characters people buy more of.

but that's my point, a casual is just going to grab one to grab one as they don't care enough to try and break down the odds, however if they grab 2 and get the same figure they'll likely never grab another one.

That's happened to me every time I've bought MMs.. which in all honesty hasn't been too often but it's super discouraging.

To be honest, it's 1/6 in general that lead me to avoid MM sets. I'm still willing to give the WB MM a chance, but I'm more concerned that my favorites (Wile E. and Roadrunner) may be really difficult to find. If knuckle there was an ACME product that could actually help me in this case. Maybe x-ray glasses? lol

Managed to grab all the ones I wanted from the base set on eBay (and for free too, thanks to eBay bucks from holiday shopping). Just need the store exclusives now.

I have not seen any of the exclusives yet but I've been trying as I want them all. There's not one that I wouldn't like in the set. However, I've already got 3 Freds, 2 Daffys, and 2 Yogis. Sigh...its going to be a struggle.

I can barely find them. I've only seen two cases, one at Boxlunch and another at Thinkgeek.

And three out of the six I got were Yogis. :/

Finally found some last night at a local comic shop. Got a BooBoo and Huckleberry Hound! I'd have bought more but $8 per is rough lol

I am waiting for Target to get their boxes so I can get a whole case there and then I can weigh those out and it'll make my life easier. After that, I'm game for trades.

With so many 1/6s that was always going to be the huge pain with this series and if it was anything but these old school characters, I would be avoiding them... I have two Target cases coming (will do weights and layouts for others whenever they arrive) but someone in the Aussie groups already got four of their cases and has already flooded the local market, so I have buckleys chance of getting rid of my dupes now

Also, I managed to find some Walgreens in stock at my local and with my trusty scales and a bit of luck, managed to score the two rares, including the Wlie E. exclusive... so pretty stoked... Wile. E. was the one I was after in Walgreens and why I ended up buying two cases of Target... Huckleberry will end up a dupe, but it's worth it...

It may be the difference in scales but I have Jerry at 42.2 and Hound at 43.4. Iono just giving out more data. Thanks for the Coyote weight!

Yeah, 1g either way isn't unheard of (worse in that last Potter series!) but these have been pretty close all round... 42.2 is definitely the lowest I've seen of Jerry, but seeing as how he's the lowest of them all (especially when Boo Boo is close but not in all variants) it's pretty solid... I have Hound at a 44.27g average of three known weights, so .8g difference is pretty good...

They just seem to manage to make their 1/6s the similar weights to the rares which is frustrating at times, although not as bad with these as it was with Disney Afternoon... The triplets and webby all within the threshold as the chip n dale 1/6s! blegh...
