Nahhh. Its not often that i need ALL pieces of a set. Therefore, I grab what I need only. I came super close to entire box of GoT series 3 because GS clearance but it was missing a box or two.

Christopher, the son of Tolkien, resigned as executor of the Tolkien Estate last month and has always fought against products related to his fathers books in most instances. Supposedly his resignation possibly opens the doors to more products, which we may be seeing here with Funko.

These look awesome. I agree that Aragorn looks s little off, hair is too dark, but I need this whole set. Cannot wait to display them with my Game of Thrones figures.

I’m thrilled about it. The last time LOTR had a major product line was the old ToyBiz figures that came out during the movie years or maybe the WETA statue line. I’m hoping someone picks up an action figure license, like NECA or an import, like Bandai.

But I’ll also be thrilled at a Pop/MM line.

Yeah, I think I had some of the old Toybiz figures too. Also the mines of moria lego set and one of the hobbit lego sets. I wouldn't mind seeing Neca either and I will definitely get the mini line.

Hot Topic Just announced ratios last night for their exclusives. Witch King is a 1/36 and Eowyn and Lurtz are both 1/72. This set is extraordinary, but it's going to be brutal to try to complete

Sorry dude, but I'm not prepared to buy 6+ unique cases from HT (if I could even find that many) and deal with the cavalcade of dupes. Just worried about the B&N and common ratios now :eek:

Oh boy, those odds. Does that mean the Wringwraith, Arwen, and Sauron will be 1/36 and 1/72 in the regular cases? If so, that probably means the B&N figures are 1/36 Galadriel, 1/12 gold Gimli, and 1/6 ring Frodo, with Wringwraith, Arwen, and Sauron still being 1/36 or 1/72.

Man these are awesome. Brings me back to my childhood.

But boo at the odds, the 1/72 exclusives are such a pain to get. Most near me HT only stock 1-2 cases the lifetime of the mini, so even if I go to 3 HT and bought everything still a chance not to get it. To ebay I go I guess.

Possibly even more of a plague than 1/72 exclusives.

I think I'm officially out for this set. 1 1/36 and 2 1/72 Hot Topic exclusives?! This is terrible. Maybe if Hot Topic restocked more than twice we'd have a shot.
