Plastic Bags for Minis

Great things come in mysterious miniature or pint sized packages, but which great thing will it be? It's all a mystery until you open one. Then the fun begins.

Plastic Bags for Minis

Postby jagpop » Mon Apr 09, 2018 2:14 pm

I'm trying to find a sandwich bag type of bag to take some of my PSH and MM to FDO. Any recommendations? I know figure sizes range widely but if there is a bag someone has used in the past, please share. Thanks.

We use these from Michaels craft store: http://www.michaels.com/3-in-x-4-in-res ... 90082.html

They make a few different sizes (the 3x4 fit a majority of minis and some of the larger PSH, the 2x3 fit some of the smaller minis and most PSH, and the 4x5 fit larger minis or ones that have swords/staffs/wings/etc).

Awesome, thank you! I'm going to check them out this weekend.

Usually the snack size generic store brand zip locks work fine.

Cool, make sure if you go to check for coupons! There are regularly 40% or 50% off one item coupons, and sometimes 20 or 25% your purchase coupons.

I use the same baggies that someone else posted upthread. They're pretty useful for stashing most minis.

Thanks for the info all. I have seen the snack sized/portion control sandwich bags at the store. I'll see what I can find before FDO.

Wal-Mart has the same thing as Michael's in their craft section. I think I bought 2x3 or 3x4 in. the last time and just used them up.

Since you love Breaking Bad so much you should bring a case with little baggies, or a brown paper bag likes dead drop :)

I usually transport mine in a big box them all mashed i there together. Also I’ve seen at grocery stores the half a sandwich bag for snacks which is actually close to a MM size.

"Regular" size characters/humans, yes. Sizes like Godzilla or Gandalf, no. Legolas was a tight squeeze because of his arrow sticking out front.

I'll have some Blue bags for FDO LV. (Don't worry, it will be pop rocks)
