Godzilla MM 3-pack

Out of nowhere announcement on these guys. Utilizing the same packing window as the PSH 3-packs with the hidden third figure. Wonder how many actual mystery 3rd variants there will be?

It'd be interesting if they had one or two variants of it. But it'd be a bummer to have to buy a bunch of green and orange 'Zillas just to get all of the Mystery ones.

The Black Panther 3 pack had 2 variants though, so could be different!

Hopefully it's not a crazy chase situation where only 1/x have the metallic GITD flocked version.

I'm definitely intrigued by these, but will reserve my final decision until I see them in person. But that "mystery" 3rd figure is a definite concern — hopefully it just follows the PSH logic.

There are at least two variants in the Mystery slot in the Godzilla Mystery Mini 3 packs. There may or may not be more, but at least 2, besides the Regular Green and the Regular Orange shown in the windows of the box.

I want mini glow godzillas I haven't been able to find these yet (and I think I'd have to make them glow myself as I didn't see anything like that but my mind will not be given boundaries, dammit!)

In case anyone is interested, I got a set of these and the mystery figure is a grey-scale black and white Godzilla. I like it.

I bought it from eBay and the box is labeled as a "Previews Exclusive".

The only other version I've seen a picture of is a cross between the two visible in the box. It's a regular Godzilla with the flames on it, as opposed to the orange Godzilla with flames on it. I'm very curious if there are any other versions.

I only have seen the B/W and Burning variants, along with the two shown in the front window (Green and Meltdown/Explosion).

A little disappointed that all 3 figures are Godzilla in some form, rather than other kaiju from the many Toho movies, but I'm still happy to hear these are a thing. Where is everyone finding them?

And how do the new ones scale compared to the Godzilla from the Sci Fi series 2 line?

It'd be pretty sweet if they made an entire Mystery Mini line of Godzilla figures of these did well enough. I think a Mystery Mini set with a couple Godzilla variants with various other kaiju would be awesome.

My LCS says they have some of these arriving in the next 2 weeks, so I'm going to decide whether to take the plunge or not.
I think they look alright. I really love the Godzilla from the Sci-Fi set, so I'm in no rush to add these to my collection.

I got mine in the mail! I got two of the 3-packs. Ended up with Burning Godzilla in both of them unfortunately.

They are cool though! Very heavy, and they are a little taller than the Godzilla Mystery Mini from Sci-Fi Series 2. There is also a green translucent glowing one:

I think that leads us to at least three variants for the mystery slot so far:
+ Burning
+ Black/White
+ Glow
I wonder if they have the same distribution? I hope so.

I ended up taking the plunge, and got the B&W Mystery figure. The shop owner had a second set and said if the Mystery figure was different, I could just pay for that one and he would sell the other two duplicates individually. I ended up with the Flame Godzilla too! Now I guess I just have to find the Green one!

I've managed to get both the black and white and burning variants. I've not seen the translucent green one in the wild though. I hope that we'll see more kaiju at some point.

Indirectly related - how cool would it be if Funko made a 10" Pop of King Ghidorah?
