80s/90s Cartoons Mystery Minis

Great things come in mysterious miniature or pint sized packages, but which great thing will it be? It's all a mystery until you open one. Then the fun begins.

80s/90s Cartoons Mystery Minis

Postby sylin » Sun Aug 05, 2018 9:26 am

This seems like a great idea, and would likely sell well. A set of minis, ala Sci Fi and Horror, of various 80s/90s cartoon characters. There's so many to choose from, and I'm sure they can expand this line ad infinitum if the sales support it. Anyone else agree? What would you like to see in such a line?

That'd likely get its own set though. I was thinking more of a mix of properties such as Rainbow Brite, Lisa Frank, GI Joe, MASK, Silver Hawks, Tiny Toons, etc.

BTAS is obviously the best Batman there can be, but I am more then sick of any and all Batman related things from Funko for quite awhile.

This will be a nice collection, just because there are a lot of cartoons in that period of time. Plus we also had the ones who came from Japan and other countries.

I am not in danger, I am the danger! A guy opens his door and gets shot and you think that of me? No. I am the one who knocks!

I'd like to see them stick to 80s cartoon era though, since it is clearly the best cartoon era... Some went into the 90s, yes, but stick with those that originated in the 80s I think...

Such a great idea and sooo many cartoons to choose from. Gummy Bears would be great and really cute on the mystery mini scale. Bucky O'Hare is agreed also and BTAS would just be sooo high five fantastic. Great post thank you.

Sign me up for a case of Gummi Bears for SURE... Loved that cartoon growing up and have passed the love onto my kids... Could easily do a 1/12 case like they did with Incredibles 2 (Zummi, Tummi, Gruffi, Grammi, Sunni, Cubbi, Gusto, Artie, Igthorn, Toady, Princess Calla, Cavin, King Gregor, Sir Tuxford, Unwin, Zook & Gad, Sir Victor, even Sir Thornberry, Sir Gawain and Lady Bane if we wanted to extend the series...

Can you imagine even these as pints?!? OMG! And Thundercats Pints!?!? ugh... i want them all now! lol...

Classic cartoon version of Transformers would be awesome, in their proper style, not the movie style...

Battle of the Planets... Robotech... Even a UK cartoon series that had Danger Mouse, Roger Ramjet and Count Duckula era stuff! (maybe even sneaking in Sooty as well?) All would be awesome!
