Ad Icons Mystery Minis

Great things come in mysterious miniature or pint sized packages, but which great thing will it be? It's all a mystery until you open one. Then the fun begins.

These are super dope.

I hope the ratios are not as hard tho.

If this is series one I can't begin to imagine what series 2 has in store. Maybe Toucan Sam, Tony, Trix, etc.

I like these more than any of the other minis except my Harry Potter Buckbeak, agree on the ratio

Yeah there's a few I would have rather seen in this set other than all those spooky cereal guys but I am really happy with it and look forward to more releases with hopefully other icons like the Colonel and Tony the Tiger!

It looks like we got our wish of ad icons minis. I would love to collect these, but I am going to have to probably hold off. I just went to town on toy story minis, and I am afraid I am not done. I really do love the bazooka and kool-aid ones. I wish they had captain crunch though.

Don’t know the ratios yet, but I just can’t see any of the Cereal Monsters being 1/72. Have a feeling the Owl will be since there isn’t even a pop out for it yet.

Was it a common case or the specialty series? Just wandering if any of the online retailers that carry the specialty series are taking preorders for them yet

Thanks for the information. I was able to preorder.. THANKFULLY. I was worried about a lot of competition in my area for these. My only issue is when is expected delivery. It says 2nd quarter. And do they bill me when the order is actually filled? Guess I better call customer service. Ok so customer service.............. kinda talked to me like I was dumb........... I wont deny.... that could be plausible lol lol but they said delivery in the second quarter is about June or July time frame and payment comes out when they fill the order.

With 15 per case with the possibilities of 1/6 and 1/12, I'm guessing this leads to (like the latest HP set):
2x 1/6
5x 1/12
4x 1/24
2x 1/36
2x 1/72

Now I'm theorizing here: with 7 unique companies involved, I'm guessing at least one character from each company will be a 1/6 or 1/12 (to avoid favoritism). If that holds true, that would mean Kool-Aid Man, Mr. Owl, Bazooka Joe, and Big Boy will probably be common, and then companies with more than one character will have common and rares distributed. Or I could be totally wrong! lol

This is where I am hung up too. I believe there are 12 minis in a case. It must simply be that Funko hasn't announced who is carrying which exclusive (other than specialty series). Further, how often is it that the exclusives are only 1 per retailer? Haven't they always been in groups of 3? Are more coming? Or is each retailer only getting one exclusive? And if that's the case, wow are these going to be expensive to collect the full group.

I was wondering that too. I hope its only the specialty series thats the exclusives, but at the same time i want them to make more!

I'm not entirely sure. I bought the case from Plastic Empire and they don't specify if it has the specialty series or not.

It's probably just a common case then. Usually they will specifically say that it's the Specialty Series one.
