That really sucks, and I feel your pain - had the same thing happen to me with a different set at B&N last weekend! Was really lucky in that I opened the box in front of the cashier. Still haven't figured out how they reattached the plastic wrap on it, but the box and bag were both open once I pulled off the wrap. I was prepared to just eat it on the mini, but he was really nice and asked if I wanted to go pull a different one to make up for it. Really grateful to the kind cashier, but on the other side of that - why are people animals???

Yeah, the black bag alone is okay - I kinda like it when they're open actually, just makes my life easier. This batch of boxes open really easily, too, which is nice. Some of the boxes practically have to be destroyed to get to the mini inside, but not this batch! It just amazes me how many boxes I find on the shelves that aren't shrink wrapped anymore!

Oh, absolutely too risky. I learned that the hard way with a Star Wars batch. The boxes had lost their shrink wrap, and one of them was actually open - a bad glue job. Just for giggles, I tried to feel through the bag to see who it was, and it was a Hermione mini. In a Star Wars box. I was so disgusted with whoever returned it back to the store. Grabbed the bunch and marched up to the counter to let the sales person know that they needed to not accept returns that didn't have the wrap, but also told her that I knew it probably wasn't up to her. She at least said she'd let her manager know.

Recently had a similar situation at Target with these. Just walked away from the bunch!

I found 2 out of 4 untouched cases . It's all just randomness and how lucky you are to find the case that has Fruit Brute.

I feel like it's a different issue, actually, that I've had with other series - I think that areas get the same cases a lot of the time. When I was hunting the Endgame minis, all I could find at Target was case B. I had to go SERIOUSLY out of my area to find a non-B case. It was ridiculous. So maybe it's people hunting, finding multiple cases, and they all got the same case at their local stores? So frustrating!

Target near me just finally got the Nickelodeon minis in, so here's hoping that the people who haven't gotten the ad icons in their area that they are still coming, just very very slowly.

For those still looking, keep checking your local Barnes & Noble stores. Found another full case a couple of days ago - Case F w/ Fruit Pie the Magician, Twinkie the Kid and Bazooka Joe. So that's C and F that I've found at B&N.

Second full case I’ve found there in the last month or so. I had bought the first one, and my brother bought this one. I’m not sure if there was another case in between those two, but they’re definitely restocking.

I have not seen anymore restocks of Ad Icons MMs. Hopefully we get S2 next summer since hunting for these was fun and stressful, but mostly fun.

It's crazy how most stores didn't even get a single case. So weird since I always see the other lines getting multiple restocks.

Just started getting back into minis last week (went on a self-imposed hiatus after the Endgame hunt ). All I'm missing now are Sprout, Mr. Owl and Fruit Pie! The hunt continues this weekend, wish me luck!

Wohoo!! Found an untouched specialty series case today in a comic store and was able to help my friend out with the metallic jolly green giant! That was the last one that particular friend needed, so it's wonderful to cross this set off the list for her!

Now to figure out what my other friend still needs, and maybe go back to that case to see what's what!
