How do you display your Mystery Minis?

Great things come in mysterious miniature or pint sized packages, but which great thing will it be? It's all a mystery until you open one. Then the fun begins.

How do you display your Mystery Minis?

Postby Funk0Fairy » Fri Aug 31, 2018 1:08 pm

How do you display your Mystery Minis? Currently I have mine kind of lined up in front of some of my Pops! but I feel like they both take up a lot of space that way and can't be seen fully.

(I apologize if this has been answered already somewhere, I searched the forum but couldn't find anything.) Thanks!

Alot of folks put them in little acrylic display cases and make little foam risers. I personally would be doing this if i had space. Oh theres also many folks that use shot glass displays for their minis. <3

As it stands i have some random ones on some ledges here and there, and some in a cabinet here and there. The rest is scattered in boxes and drawstring bags. LOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL

I know how that goes. I have more sets than I have space to display right now lol

I have nail polish racks, shot glass displays, the small riser ones that you get at the container store, and some that are not displayed. And some random ones that are at my desk at work :)

Hey Geescube, i cant work out how to post a link from my phone, but if you look on amazon for an acrylic wall mounted nail polish rack you’ll get an idea of the sort of thing available. I’ve seen a few people use them and they can look good especially if your minis aren’t too big as you can see the whole mini with the clear acrylic but usually not all will fit eg horntail in HP.

My HP minis are all on top of a bookshelf, but they're rapidly getting to be too crowded, so I'm going to have to figure something else out if S4 comes out. The rest of them are in the acrylic containers that the container store sells. I heard recently that Daiso stores also sell display containers, but I haven't been over to look at it.

Really looking forward to seeing some display ideas (especially the spice rack one!) since I could definitely use some new good ideas!

I just keep mine on a bookshelf. Nothing fancy, but would love to eventually put them in a case.

I keep my minis in various places. Some are sitting in front of pops on my main shelves. Others are in shot glass displays from Michael's in a hallway. I also have a few in random places to through the house, firmly set with musuem putty.

I buy cheap display cases from Daiso with built in risers. The rest are on bookcase shelves or randomly around my home.

I currently use like eight of these (link below) arranged on a wall, but want to do a shallow built-in for them.

For me they're usually just scattered all over the place. I try to add them where theres room around my funko pops but I place them in places where they make sense. So for instance I place the disney mystery minis with the disney pops and if possible with the same characters. I just feel this way makes my collection feel a little bit more alive

I have mine set up like this for now. I am working on building shelves and picking up another one of the dividing shelves. I have so many minis I would go broke if I bought a lot of cases to hold my minis.
