Aladdin Mystery Minis Series 1

Great things come in mysterious miniature or pint sized packages, but which great thing will it be? It's all a mystery until you open one. Then the fun begins.

I hope this is true. I've wondered if that post in this thread that was supposed to contain a message from Funko was actually legit. I rolled the dice and got some from Australia when I was caught in the hype, but then had some interactions with people that made me worry I got duped.

Seems legit. There are new items for sale on eBay from both California and Kansas.

The case was still there when I got home. I was able to get all three exclusives. DPCI is 323-01-0543. I think the number is shared with other minis.

Was that same DPCI on the reciept when you purchased as well? Looks like they are shared with Wreck it Ralph and Incredibles 2 when they pulled them up for me at the store.

It's so annoying when they do shared DPCIs for exclusives! I think the Rick and Morty minis were the same way.

buried_by_pops wrote:I got one of the Australia cases at the end of last week. I can confirm the layout is similar to the one unboxed on YouTube. I got all three exclusives, and three spots of 1/24 or better. Elephant Abu seems to be the key to the layout. On YouTube, he was Top-Left-Front, but for me he was Bottom-Right-Back. Once you find him, which is easy because he is so heavy (>100 grams), Genie Jafar is diagonal from him on the same level in the middle, and GITD Genie is directly above/below
Genie Jafar.

The GITD genie replaces a 1/6 Genie, the Elephant Abu replaces the 1/12 Monkey Abu, and the Genie Jafar replaces the 1/12 Regular Jafar. I got really lucky and found that 1/36 Disguised Jasmine I was asking about too (59.27 grams btw)! Set complete, and the unopened boxes are going to the Children's Hospital!

Great intel!!! Thanks. Hope these show up soon at target!

I had to buy the Aladdin box to get the Apu Toy minis variant to complete the set. Thank goodness for hot cash, $5 reward, and $5 anniversary reward. Paid only $10 for the box.

I would love to see a side-by-side comparison on size for this one. It didn't seem all that mini to me in the pictures I saw and I'm still trying to decide if I want to get it to go with this set.

Found a batch at a local target over the weekend - slightly picked over, but Elephant Abu was in the box, so the kid was thrilled! He's super obvious - doesn't move at all in the box, and I think his weight came in at about 96 g? She also pulled Carpet! Cracked me up because she only got to pick 2 boxes (I can't afford her mini habit & mine!), and she was really debating between Carpet and what we were pretty sure was Jasmine. The girly-girl part of her really wanted Jasmine, but she ultimately decided that finding a 1/72 was something she couldn't pass on! All her choice - I was so proud!

How did your hunt go? I went to about 9 targets. Only 2 had cases and 1 was picked over. I finally found the glow genie! but one of his eyebrows is missing the black paint... oh well have to keep looking i guess!

Alas, it didn't. Pretty picked over in the nearest Targets, unfortunately, so no success stories. Luckily, birthday girls never know what they were GOING to get, just what they DO get..! So I'll take her out again soon and let her 'find' the minis on her own! Thank goodness for Brickseek! Not all my Targets seem to have gotten them in yet, either, which keeps hope alive!

The only time I've had that issue is when someone very kindly returned opened boxes to the store. Were they shrink wrapped? Otherwise, I'd pass on them!
