How about some Godzilla Mystery Minis?

Great things come in mysterious miniature or pint sized packages, but which great thing will it be? It's all a mystery until you open one. Then the fun begins.

How about some Godzilla Mystery Minis?

Okay, this is really niche, I know. :D Over in Japan they have gashapons (random capsule toys) of Godzilla monsters that are very popular, called High Grade, produced by Bandai. They are about 2-3" in most cases.

I'd love to see Funko take a stab at some more Godzilla monsters in a similar scale, whether realistic or stylized. There are so many monsters from the Japanese films, as well as the recent American MonsterVerse that could be made. Kong: Skull Island and Godzilla: King of the Monsters in particular introduced a bunch of new monsters that have yet to be made in any kind of plastic form.

Just in case there are legal troubles however with who has the rights to make the live action monsters, how about a series of minis for the original monsters created for the 1970's Hanna Barbera Godzilla cartoon (the one with Godzooky), and Godzilla: The Series which spun off from the 1998 American version? Both series have interesting monster designs and we know how much Funko loves Hanna Barbera!

Minis based on the Hanna Barbera cartoon could look something like this:

I would love a MM set of Goji monsters but I think Bandai has a lock on the figures in mini form. Their chibi Godzilla set is pretty cool.

Godzilla definitely needs his own MM set... shoot, the recent King of Monsters movie alone would make 1/2 a case! The previous Sci-Fi mini was really nice, but I don't really like the pickle 3 pack they did.. lol

I think Godzilla mm set would bring in a ton of new collectors. I'd love for some glow variants of they ever got made.

Will like it, but don't know what they can come out with. Not so many characters in the story line.
