Finally saw/purchased from the machines at Funko Hollywood on Saturday. Machines are fun but it's not a quick process. There's a few steps each with an animation sequence before you get the ball dispensed. I only went for the village ones, are animation sequences for all 4. Novel but could be streamlined a bit.

You can skip the animated scenes.

I was going to but then I'm like ehhh maybe its not as random if theyre pulled out of a bag, maybe the rare ones are at the bottom. Was thinking the machine randomized them better iono

YES! I ordered 3 of the Munchies from GameStop's site and received 3 random balls in the mail. Ended up with the grey cat, brown bear, and orange tiger.
I can only assume these come from what would be the replacement stock for machines. Without machines...random shipments.

If I remember correctly, they hold one box of each line (3 sets). Not sure how many balls that adds up to though.
