Does HT.com ever ship out chase pieces to people who order the regular one?

Well its brunch time in the OC tomorrow so a good opportunity to hit up the HT there. Hoping for a couple of Riot gear Glenn's or chase Spike. Keeping my fingers crossed.

In most cases, I'd agree with you. I just can't get past the re-used Walker pose. The awkward pose makes it too obvious that it's a Walker.

No. I've been looking since I heard people were finding them at HT recently. I check two HTs and they both keep restocking Freddy and Jason, so I might find one eventually. I'll grab them for you if I ever do.

http://www.funkofunatic.com//viewtopic.php?p=1019181#p1019181 according to that person they do, which makes sense since it's not an exclusive, it's a production variant. so anybody who orders from a company that gets their shipment from Funko should have a 1 in 6 chance to get the Chase. I think more people are just checking HT most because they seem to be more in the know about Pops and have a seemingly higher turnover with their stock.

I stopped by Hot Topic today and got La Muerte GITD and Wishverse Willow (and bonus since the whole store is buy 1 get 1 half off right now). They didn't have any of the Walking Dead exclusives, seems hit or miss which Hot Topics have gotten those in.

Is Wishverse Willow an HT Exclusive only, or is there a reg version, too? I'm on HT website and looking to order it, but the picture doesn't have a HT Exclusive sticker. Most of their pictures of their exclusives do have the sticker on them. If it's a regular, I'm going to pass for now (but definitely get her later). Anybody know?

she's an exclusive, and not an exclusive pre-release

ht.com is doing a 24 hour sitewide flash sale. Pops are $8.75 (Ecto-1 Rides is $22.75 and Angry Stay Puft is $12.95), and if you got one of those $10 off $40 promo cards that started Monday, you can use that as well

Thanks Kevin. I did see the flash sale banner, and the prices, which is why I want to pull the trigger today. Now that I know WV Willow is exclusive, I'm doing it. I'm also ordering HT Ex. GitD Jesse Pinkman, a (an?) Heisenberg regular version, and a Wacky Wobbler that is on clearance already AND get the 30% off so it's $3.49, of Star Trek Uni/BBT Howard Wolowitz.

I don't have the $10 off $40 card though, which is too bad. That'd be a freebee.

My HT had the Book of Life POP!s in today. They had 8 of the La Muerte exclusives, and 4 each of Manolo and Maria.

They also restocked a bunch of Arkham Asylum Harley Quinn and Toasted Stay Puft.

Waiting for my HT order to be delivered to the HT store so I have a good reason to go there three days in a row. I'm waiting for them to suggest that I should work there considering how often I go.
Looking forward to flocked samba, riot gear Glen, and firehouse minion to appear at my HT.

riot Gle-ar has been on ht.com a couple of times though, but sold out fast each time. items only show up in searches if they're in stock.

I'm looking through all of HT's Pop! items online. They have a Miss Piggy that says it's an Online Exclusive. Is this a variant of the standard Miss Piggy, or are they just saying they aren't selling the regular her in stores? Looking at the pictures, and comparing it to the B&N Miss Piggy picture, it looks like HT Piggy's eyelids are straight across, where B&N are rounded. But I don't know if one or the other is an older concept picture that didn't change. Neither of the checklists I use (one being Christina's on here) have an HT exclusive listed. Anybody know, or have any good speculation?

After going back to HT site, I see they have several Pop!s listed as Online Exclusives. In my mind, that must mean they are regular Pop!s that HT isn't putting in their stores. That would be more exclusives than have discussed. But I'd still like confirmation.

Also, one has pearls and the other doesn't.

On second inspection. On one box it says "The Muppets" and is slanted. The second box says "Muppets Most Wanted" and is straight.

I believe there are 2 muppets movies so the two different versions.

Good catch on the box. If they're promoting the two movies, why wouldn't they do a different box #? And now I guess I should look to see if all the Muppets got a second box.

It looks to me that the Muppets Most Wanted Piggy, that's the one in the MMW box, straight type and the picture of just her w/o the box, she has darker pearls, where as the Muppets w/slanted type, her pearls are bright white. I didn't know if that was part of the difference, or the way they took the picture.

So this, buying a case of Mystery Minis, is frowned upon? Is that just when its a new line, anything that's been around for a couple months is fair game? It's not like they only get a handful of 1 figure for 2 handfuls of people to fight over. It's a random box of what 12 or 24 different choices?

And if it's not a no-no, does buying an unopened box guarantee you get at least one of each in the series? I actually was thinking about buying an unopened box today, I'm not a fan of random purchases.

I know I'm free to do as I please, but if this is something our community frowns on, I'd rather stay in the good graces (and not tell you later that I did it anyway :roflmao:

I guess that deprives other customers the chance to buy that product, but still, they're selling an entire case of merchandise. I usually see a case sitting on the shelf for a few weeks before it's sold down enough to justify getting another in.

From my talks with the manager at my store, it doesn't seem like they actually get to request much of what is shipped to the store. If that's the case, I could see why if a store is only ever going to get 1 case of minis shipped to them, and someone comes in and buys the entire thing, no one else has the chance to purchase it.

You can't return opened blind-boxes, so there's no way people are buying the entire case to find the chases they want and returning the rest, like I've heard they do with the POP! chases.

I just got back from my HT. They have a lot the Exclusives. Wishverse Willow, Riot Gear Glenn, Bloody Carol, Jesse Pinkman GitD, La Muerte GitD, Cordelia Foxx, (I dont remember seeing Fiona Goode), and Harley Quinn.

I think I saw at least one of the Nightmare Before Christmas HT Exclusives. If I did see one, it was Lumiere. I saw a Jack Skellingtom and Sally, but I think that was at B&N, and they'd be regulars.

Doubt it. Day of the Dead Jack and Sally we're not hot topic exclusives but they did come out with a glow in the dark versions. These jack and sally pops are esclusive to hot topic so I doubt they will have gLow n the dark version but I could be wrong

I'm thinking no. I know for sure I saw the regular versions at B&N, because they were an a table, by themselves, as I was going to the registers.
