I went in to a HT today at 10am and the amount of Pops on the shelves was literally 1/3 the usual amount. They got hit hard lol

.

At the register, the cashier was telling me about two "giant" Groot Pops they got yesterday but the GM came and bought one. I asked how giant was giant and she made a distance of about 2 feet with her hands. I asked her 3 times if she was sure it was Funko and was it really that big, etc. I obviously didn't believe her and she was getting defensive lol

. No clue what she could have been talking about.

I seriously want that 11" groot Hikari. I preordered mine from toy tokyo but they haven't made any updates as to when it will ship. Their customer service is the absolute worst. I am just hoping that it shows up on the hot topic website five minutes before hot cash codes expire.

Just went to Wizard World Comic Con In Portland this weekend. Saw A LOT of Vendors selling HT exclusive POPs for like $20+ each. Very annoyed by this.

Found New 52 Harley late last week here in North Carolina. Very happy with her, although I thought she'd come with a clear stand. She stands really well despite that, though.

Hey, I was there too! I was amazed at how many vendors were selling Funko. That doesn't bother me at all since it's worth it sometimes to save the hassle of tracking something down. Not everyone has time to monitor a message board for availability lol

On the flip side, those same vendors were selling "common" Pops that I haven't seen in ages, or at all, for ~$10.
I need to catalog my haul, but I'm very happy with what I snagged.

Not very surprising. They're just trying to make a buck. Comic book stores aren't financial hubs after all.

I haven't been able to find any of the other ones in any stores. I've found a Tauriel, but didn't end of buying her. :/

I went into a HT a couple weeks ago looking for a black haired Goku. The guy told me oh...yeah someone came in yesterday and bought our entire shipment of 25 that were received that day. I was kind of dumb founded like who would do that. Now I know..it's people like the vendors at the Con. Buy up the entire stock, and now they are even more exclusive, and you have to pay their $20 fee (full well knowing they probably paid $6-$12 MAX on them depending on what HT deal they got while buying them).
