Just joshing you Baxter....the Austin Powers box was sort of a generic box Funko used briefly...perhaps someone who remembers the details can post why.

Re: Gitd Frankenberry Question?
It was a quickly made exclusive that sold for $35 originally and I believe the production edition was 96 and all proceeds from Funko's sales were donated to a children's hospital in Seattle somewhere. They used Austin Powers boxes because they had a crapload of them at Funko HQ for some reason.
The boxes were also used for a Toy Tokyo CC2003 or CC2004 exclusive too

Re: Gitd Frankenberry Question?
This piece, to me, is one of the coolest GITD pieces; it really glows a bright pink. It's also yet another piece that has competing production numbers.
Like Kevin, I've seen a lot of references to it being an LE 96, but a web site that cataloged a lot of older Funko pieces (LetsGetWacky.com) had this to say about pink GITD Frank: "This version of Frankenberry has a production run of only 200 pieces, and was donated to Nodderworld and WickedCoolStuff with 100% of the sales going towards a charity of each sites' choosing. He's all-glow, all-pink, and he's ALL THAT!"
Kevin and Corey know a lot more about the LetsGetWacky web site than I do and can better speak to the validity of the info it contained, but I loved this site as a resource for the older Wobblers. Of course, no one source is the gospel truth. The site is no longer up and running, but if you're somewhat web-proficient, you can still fish out a lot of the data via the WayBack Machine Internet Archive.

This is very possible, but I bought mine from Nodderworld. I do not remember Wickedcoolstuff ever having these for sale, but I could be wrong. It is hard to remember the exact details of over 1500+ pieces of Funko. I know the proceeds went top charity and one of them was a children's hospital.
As far as 100, 250 or 500 each for any 2 Funko vendors, that was done several times on many pieces, especially the "Collector's Club" pieces. Cameron's Collectibles, Nodderworld, wickedcoolstuff, Scooter's Collectibles & Wild Bill were the 5 main vendors in the beginning. Once (Brett) the owner of wickedcoolstuff had his first child, he dropped out of the Funko game. The same reason for Ron & Laura at Nodderworld, kids change everything. Sometimes the production number details were found out long after a piece was released and Mike Becker was not always good at remembering the actual production number when asked, so I am not sure on this piece, but I never claimed to know everything

I WAS THINKING OF USING A FUNKO FREDDY WOBBLER BASE AND STICKING HIS HEAD ON THAT. I CAN PAINT "KEVIN" ON THE SIGN HE IS HOLDING PLUS I HAVE A FEW EXTRA FREDDY BODIES

Re: Gitd Frankenberry Question?
Just to resurrect an old old post, I just bought this guy and was very curious about the Austin Powers box. Answer makes sense. I was going to toss it out straight away and just keep him in a protector with no box but I don’t know now, the AP box now kinda has a story all of its own.
