Reis,
Loved seeing the T2 figures and Karate Kid was the highlight of this year's Toy Fair for me. That was a really nice surprise. Are there any plans for Karate Kid II?

I'm super excited for all the new stuff that's coming out...but I'm curious about a two things Reis:
1) Are you going to make a Chekov? It seems odd to leave him off when you're doing the rest of the bridge crew.
2) When it comes to the figures with small differences (like The Arrow with mask and without, Mr. Miyagi with headband and without, and the Sarah Connor with hat and without) are they chases, variants, or are they being released as multiple options like the Jack with three different faces?

When it comes to the Arrow and Flash reaction figures, are there plans for more? I think this line might be the first reaction line that I will get all of (except maybe Star Trek) as I really love the Arrowverse ( and it's Flash that made me love it and give Arrow another chance).

Reis,
Toy Fair has been pretty awesome so far.
I noticed a couple lines that have been announced did not show up during the Toy Fair presentation. Would you be able to talk about those lines after Toy Fair ends or do w have to wait to hear character selection when they get officially announced?
I also ran across an Ebay auction from a seller in China that had 2 new Predators listed. This brings up a couple questions. A Thermal Predator and a
What are those for? It looks like one might be a Toys R Us exclusive but no word on the other one.
Why is there a seller in China selling these? Do they have permission to do so? Are the stolen from the factory or just factory rejects? How does Funko handle situations like this? I also noticed they have a bunch of Alien figures as well.

These are painted test shots. But they're pretty close to how they'll look in final production. Yes, Cold will have his gun!

The pictures coming out of Toy Fair look great! Is what we are seeing represent most of the 2015 line? It looks like about 40 figures shown. I am very excited and will be buying all of them.
P.S.
I love the surprise of the Karate Kid line. I have a complete set of the Remco figures from 1986. Now, if only you guys could do Magnum Pi....
Actually, what you're seeing at Toy Fair only represents about 50% of our 2015 ReAction releases. (Give or take.)

I have two questions I hope you can answer:
1) What happened with the announced The Dark Crystal figures? They weren't at the NY Toy Fair. Are they still being released? (and when? and which characters?)
2) Any chance there will be ReAction figs of KRULL, The Last Starfighter (Two classic 80s flicks!) and the 70s TV shows Buck Rogers and Battlestar Galactica?
Thanks! And keep up the FANTASTIC work!
Dark Crystal is absolutely happening! Can't say when, yet, and I can't go into which characters, but the original planned lineup should give you a good indication.
Probably not on Krull, I'm trying my hardest to get Last Starfighter made, not sure about Buck Rogers, and I'm hoping for Battlestar Galactica.

There are a lot of other Star Trek characters we'd like to make. So here's hoping for great sales to warrant a second series!
Most of those will be either chases or retail exclusives.

Yes, those are upcoming exclusives (I forget who will be getting them), and the ones you're seeing on eBay from China are samples/rejects stolen from the factory. We prefer that collectors do not encourage these sellers. Whenever we see these on eBay, we take action and remind our factory about tighter security.

Hi Reis,
Any idea when we might see better carded/uncarded images of the Toyfair figures? Will we need to wait until they go up on a retail site like Entertainment Earth?
With the other (gulp) 50% of figures still to be revealed for 2015, will we need to wait until July and Comic Con to see the rest? I've noticed that most of the figures from Toy fair are scheduled between now and June...
Will the Gremlins all be single carded or will any of them be packed in together.
Finally, with the Jaws figures, will Bruce the shark be boxed or carded? Is the shark solid or made from a pliable rubber?
Awesome work, thanks again guys.

Hopefully you can get the the culprit to stop. I would hate for some future item to not happen do to some thieves in China selling stolen figures through E-bay.
I saw a bunch of Pope figures in different formats will ReAction be one at some point?

Not sure when we'll see glams for the upcoming batch of ReAction figures. That's out of my realm.
We mostly just keep release announcements secret right before Toy Fair. Now that 2015 is rolling right along, I' sure we'll announce things as they become ready.
Yea, Gremlins will be single carded. But Barney will come with Gizmo!
The shark will be in a window box. He's hollow (perfect for stuffing action figures into), but made of firm PVC plastic.

Hey Reis, I wasn't at Toy Fair, but have seen the many pictures, great work man!
But what I want to ask about is the Breaking Bad Reactions?
I have seen the pictures of them but have not seen or heard about a Saul and Mike, are they with the set?
Or did you all not make them?
I thought it was kind of odd to not include them, but then I thought maybe a "Better Call Saul" set soon?

So Reis there has been a lot of complaining that no series/wave 2 figures were shown at Toy Fair. Now that it is over could you fill us in on what "might" be getting some more figures? I know you had said that Nightmare X-Mas and maybe Universal Monsters, but is there anything else?
Toy Fair was off the hook! I can't wait to buy all these figures.

No Mike or Saul in the first series. But they'll definitely make it in if there's a series 2!

Yes, NBX is definitely getting a second series. So is the Horror line. Maybe Universal Monsters. We're hoping that more lines will end up deserving a second series, but there are a few who just don't warrant it. If the first series sells well, we'll make a second series. Plain and simple.

So from the 12 Days of Christmas announcements these were the ones missing from the Toy Fair display.
Aliens featuring a Queen!
Rocky Horror Picture Show
V for Vendetta
Munsters
Fast Times at Ridgemont High
E.T.
Big Lebowski
Fight Club
A-Team
Star Trek New Gen
Dark Crystal
Can you go into any details about character selection or when you plan on announcing these? I did see Fight Club was up for Pre-order but have not seen pictures of them as of yet.
I guess I'll just have to customize that Pope figure then
Thanks

I can't go too deep into details about the upcoming lines quite yet. Some of the lineups haven't been decided. Fight Club just missed the deadline for being shown at Toy Fair, so they're almost done. But news about these lines will hit periodically throughout the year. We're not going to save them all up for one big announcement or anything.

Hello Reis,
I am very excited to hear about the news of tiny little Gremlins figures. This is something I have always been waiting for. I pretty much exclusively collect 7" action figures. I have become not such a stickler for scale over the years, although I still do go a little crazy about it sometimes.
You mentioned that the scale had to be fudged for the Mogwais, who appear to work very well with other 6"-7" scale figures, and I will surely be picking them up. The detail and paint look great, and I love the accessories,
I love the look/paint/accessories of the Gremlins themselves, but it appears that they are scaled correctly according to other ReAction humans, and are too short when next to the Mogwais. Can we get an approximate height on the Gremlins?
Thank you!

Hi Reis,
These are quite dumb questions, but I had to ask...
1. Is there a way of getting hold of the Funko catalog from Toyfair? Mail order?
2. What are the chances of being able to buy any of your Reaction Point of Sale displays? They would be a great way to display the figures?
3. Any chance of you guys producing some sort of checklist poster for the Reactions figures so far?
4. Any chance of being able to purchase the card backs themselves without the figures attached. Sounds weird, I know, but would be great for people like me who want to preserve the card art but also have the figure loose?
Thanks.

Thanks.

1. I don't think so. It was given out at Toy Fair only. Good luck on eBay.

2. I'm not sure how one would go about that. I know that some people have been trying to get them from Barnes & Noble. You could try that?
3. Actually, we just recently talked about that very thing! I'd love to get one out for SDCC. No promises.
4. I don't think so. They are printed in China where the figure is attached. We're just not set up for that sort of thing. Sorry.
Those weren't dumb questions at all!

Aliens featuring a Queen!
Rocky Horror Picture Show
V for Vendetta
Munsters
Fast Times at Ridgemont High
E.T.
Big Lebowski
Fight Club
A-Team
Star Trek New Gen
Dark Crystal
Can you go into any details about character selection or when you plan on announcing these? I did see Fight Club was up for Pre-order but have not seen pictures of them as of yet.
I guess I'll just have to customize that Pope figure then
Thanks
I wanna say I saw pics of Fight Club somewhere. It may have been in the catalog... although I don't have one and I'm going off memory and looking at dozens of pics.
It had

Ah! QUOTED!
But, you are correct. Those are the four figures shown for the FC Re-Actions.

So does Jack Burton have his 5 o'clock shadow or not? In most Toyfair pictures, he appears not to, but I've seen a couple pictures where he gas one.
If I can't scuba, then what's this all about? What am I working towards?

Took a while but I found a picture of the book.

Any chance we could get some better pictures of them since they are up for pre-order?

The glams should be released soon. We're just waiting for the first paints from the factory (which is currently on holiday for Chinese New Year).

Re: Your ReAction Questions Answered Here!
Reis, you rock!
Dark Crystal hype has finally persuaded me to buy my first ReAction figure: Jack Burton.
1. I'm dying to know, are you even considering the larger landstrider and garthim creatures? I would expect them boxed instead of carded. Please say yes.
I NEED NEED NEED a garthim army! I've needed it for like 30-something years.
2. Have you *contemplated* including the "build-a-crystal" fragment accessories like the un-released series?
Regardless of what actually happens, I'm buying everything Dark Crystal that you produce, and likely to buy numerous others because of it.
3. In a previous question about videogame ReActions, I noticed you specified there are no plans for "modern" licenses. Does that leave the door open for something old, like say Metroid? (the first one, on NES?) That would be my thing. I would LOVE to see how Kenner would have handled Samus in her original suit before the giant shoulders. I would love it with my dollars.

Note to retail cashiers:
No, I don’t have kids. This purchase is for me.

No plans for any of those Carpenter movies. Although we talked about The Thing a while back. Not sure if we have the license locked down or not.
Sadly, I think Community figures would have been great a few of years ago. Now the show's popularity has waned too much, I think.
Thank you very much for the answers.
I'm crossing my fingers for some Thing figures
