I think what he was trying to say is that flippers artificially inflate sales, which leads to a favorable balance sheet for funko; this in turn incentivizes Funko to increase production. I don't know if I agree, but I also don't disagree.

Remember to look around the store. The HTs I go to almost always make separate sections, usually in the front of the store, featuring different themes. Anime, Dr. Who, MLP, Marvel, Supernatural have their own sections with the corresponding Pops there and not with the rest.

That said, the Portland stores had plenty of Savage Hulks and FBI Sam/Deans last week. No Pred or Cinderella yet.

I like it when they seperate them like this makes it easier to "search" what I mean is my local HT has a massive pop wall with no orginization at all. And I feel like a wierdo search through three boxes deep and moving stuff around to see what they got. I was on the floor looking under 5 other boxes when I found an HTE Earth 2 Batman. If I just walked in and looked at the boxes there and left I owuld have never found him. But like I said I felt wierd and was getting wierd looks. :-/

I always get those weird looks when searching all boxes they have. Same with the hastings in my area. HUGE wall of pops but no organization which leaves me no choice but to move everything. I do feel bad when they are all faced properly so I try to leave the shelves looking nice afterwards.

Picked up savage hulk from my HT yesterday and the guy there claimed they were getting in hulkbuster in a week or two. If he's not mistaken maybe they're getting an HT exclusive version, seeing as we were told it was a collector corps exclusive.

I can't see them getting one. Marvel and Funko both keep clamoring about how there is only 1 way you can get the item is through the subscription. It also seems strange that they would have 1 before the first box even ships out.

My HT also said the same thing about getting a hulkbuster in "soon". I am in the MCC either way. The associate knows about the MCC exclusive but said he was told HT was getting one.

I've also seen a few overseas sites that have Hulkbuster listed as a coming soon preorder so who knows?

I'm also in MCC mainly for the Hulkbuster, gonna be p*** if they also release it through hot topic after them saying it's exclusive to MCC.

overseas is different though, if MCC isn't available in a certain country then those exclusivity rights are up for grabs or it could go wide there unless they've made it a worldwide exclusive and then some countries are left out in the cold and would have to buy it from another country and pay a lot of shipping or buy it from secondary market.

It won't be released through Hot Topic. Allison was very clear at Toy Fair that they want people to subscribe to MCC, so the exclusives won't be available anywhere else and there won't be any metallic/unmasked/battle-damaged etc. variants for Hot Topic or anyone else.

Called my HT and they just unboxed the Flocked Wampa. They got a case in (not sure if that is 6 or not since these are the larger ones). $24.50. No Leviathan Castiel yet.
