So these are the 2 I got from Paper+Plastik in the last week. Not resin and both of them say "Funko 2007" on the bottom. Looks the same as the ones on the 1st page, and same with the Cult Leaders. Glad I picked these up, they're so cool! P+P is having a Christmas sale and will have Monkey's for $6 bucks tomorrow!! Hope I can snag a few of those Cult leaders!

And for the resin Monkey's, those are the ones that they have the subscriptions for, right?

Yea, most of the new stuff that comes from P+P are resin i.e. all the subscription monkeys. They're miniature size as well. I have a good bunch of those and the skulls. Carol Lynn has almost all of the resin stuff that's come out I believe.

Hey Rev, did you see the black and gold 8 Hands from last year? I assume it's a repaint of left over Funko product since it's not resin and says Funko on the bottom. All hand painted, limited to 25. When I look at the bottom of mine, you can see the original base was the purple 8 Hands. I can post up an old pic of mine if you'd like to see it.

I don't think I have seen that one before but here are some other repaint that were not Funko, I think 1/10 or 12. Carol might know since they are hers.

All of those repainted are beautiful. The fading between such contrasting colors ok the eyes just blows me away. Solid pieces. Your collection never ceases to amaze me Sho.

Jacob, the Monkeys that are now being sold on P+P are technically customs, correct? I didn't think that P+P has the original Funko mold and I am assuming that DuBose duplicated the Monkeys and that is why they are being marketing as New & Improved.

Wow, love the colors on those. Thanks for posting. Does anyone know if these and the others selling on P+P are included in the run numbers? Like Evolutionkid said the base for the Black and Gold was a purple 8 Hands, which had a run of 496, so there are 12+ less purples out there? Or were they overruns of the originals that Vinnie got with his order or whatever? If the former, I suspect Carols Crazy 88 repaint is a black suit since it had the highest run number. If the latter, how many "extra" of these MvsR figures are out there?

P+P still has some of the original Funko MvsR stock and those would look the same as the ones I posted in the first part of this thread and are made of vinyl, although they have been repackage in the bags instead of the tubes. All the new style ones are not Funko, almost all if not all are made of resin that are not Funko. The 8 Bad Habits and Crazy 88 above are actual Funko product that was airbrushed in small LE numbers. IMO repainted and recasted a design that you did not created makes it a custom.

speaking of repaints of original funko pieces, there is also 3 other crazy 88s released by Vinnie and painted by Dubose.

1 gold, 1 silver and 1 candycane. LE to about 10.
