If it shows less than 11 I'd cal before going because the batman a are probably already gone

According to this, we have 0 in stock. My last hope of seeing this exclusive just shriveled up lol

I hope this helps others though! And I'm still planning on swinging by Target this weekend just to double check.

I haven't had much luck finding batman so far, I am in San Jose. At this point I don't think I'll find him though.

So I decided to drive up to Target after work today again to give it another chance. As I was walking into the new Funko section, I saw an employee just finish opening boxes for a gentleman and putting the POP!s on display. I could already see the man had 2 POP!s in his hand and immediately thought to myself am I really going to watch myself miss out on these.

I walked over next to the man while the employee was walking away and started searching. I saw right away the exclusive Joker sitting in front and grabbed him. I moved some of the POP!s around blocking others and there he was hiding behind and under 2 POP!s, the Batman! I grabbed him and then looked at the gentleman next to me with a kind of an confusing smile. He chuckled and started saying to me "nice we both got one I just made them go out back and unbox these guys and they only got 2 in". Come to find out he grabbed the Batman and a Dementor POP!

We talked a bit more and he told me he was shopping for a buddy of his since they don't have Target's in his state and how pumped he was to find it. He also was telling me that the employee that was unboxing them told him how he was coming back after he got off his shift to buy the exclusives and that he tried to hide the Batman where I found it behind and under a few POP!s lol

Long story short, that guy was the man for not buying both Batman and the Joker. And sucks for that employee :roflmao:

Nice work Red! I have been to 4 Targets in my area in Mass and got a Batman and a Joker as well. Now my buddy has me on the search for another Batman for him but it seems like the Mass area is cleaned out. There are a few locations that appear to still not have gotten their shipments of them and the customer service told me to check on Monday as they are not a "priority" location.

Back to the search on Monday (although i will still check Brickseek every hour or so!)

Let's all hope for a target restock but since it's "super rare" I'm not sure that'll happen.

Wow, I was told the same thing that these are not going to be restocked. At best common SS and Joker will continue to be stocked on the DPCI. I don't know any reason the managers would provide false info.

This seems to be a similar case to FN-2187, but even then it seemed like there were more of those available than this Batman! lol

Honestly... Funko stated on their site,
"Get to Target early enough and you might even find the ultra-rare
and extremely limited Zur En Arrh Batman Pop!

Each Target store will receive these rare Batman variants
but they're extremely limited! Happy hunting!"

Honestly.... I anticipate this will be like typical "chase" pops. Makes me wonder if Funko is trying to move away from the "chase" stickers though? Maybe this is a little test run? I don't know.

Just because it says 0 for your area doesn't mean it's sold out (unless of course there was precious stock) some areas haven't gotten them yet!!

There is not supposed to be any restock of batman at all

If you don't see it on the floor ask a manager every store I went to was holding them behind the counter to limit 1 per

Everyone is better off skipping that site and just calling your local Targets. The numbers on Brickseek aren't anywhere near accurate. I checked with two stores, Brickseek said one had 11 (they received 3) and the other had 9 (they received 1).

I'd be way more inclined to do so if my Target had any kind of history of stocking exclusives, but everytime I've tried to hunt one down, I've been met with the same stock of wrestling pops. The last change I saw was right before Nathan Drake was to be released and they had a small section of video game pops. I'm still going to swing by since it's where I get some stuff but I'm not getting my hopes up here for anything to change.

Mine had just set up the Funko section, they implied that the Zurs came with the display setup. Hopefully the exclusives get better with this dedicated section.

I shouldnt have to work hard to give a company my money. A call should not need to be escalated to management for a simple stock check.

Yeah, that is totally ridiculous. Even a new person should be able to look up what's in the system if you have the dcpi (or so you would think).

The brick seek works great... The 11 you see is for the whole dcpi (which is the SS pops with some batmans in there). If you see a number less than 10 you probably missed out on the bat and I would call first but if there is still an 11 or 12 you should be in lucky unless they got the commons only case ... Either way once you look it up and see a high number (9,10,11,12) call before or on your way to see if they have it and if they'll put it aside for a few minuteS (I know they aren't supposed to but most will)

The Brickseek number is not just for Batman, it is for the whole series of Target SS Pop releases. Batman is mixed in with the SS Pop deliveries. The stores receive these in cases and each case has 12 Pops (I've seen some reports of sightings of a box of 6, so there may be 2 boxes to a case). Some cases have 2 Batman exclusives and 1 Joker exclusive. Other cases are all commons, no exclusives. You can't tell by Brickseek whether the store got any exclusives or not, for that you either have to call or go check. But you can use Brickseek to see if a store has even received a shipment so you don't waste your time driving around looking through stores that haven't even gotten them yet. I hope that some day we're able to track individual Pops instead of just series like this (it's the same with WG tracking), it would sure make life easier. Also as the Pops sell the Brickseek quantity will reflect that. So a store will show 12 initially, but people are hitting the stores as soon as they're in stock and a lot of people are buying SS Pops even if they can't find a chase. So the quantity in Brickseek drops pretty fast.

PatATX91 wrote:Honestly.... I anticipate this will be like typical "chase" pops. Makes me wonder if Funko is trying to move away from the "chase" stickers though? Maybe this is a little test run? I don't know.

Funko sure likes to mix things up! When the MCC box came out with Morphius and Zombie Morphius there was a lot of confusion. Is one or the other a chase? If so, which one? Why didn't it get a sticker? To me a chase is a variant that's released alongside the same Pop in standard form. Like the ID4 Alien, or the metallic Batman. It's really strange and unusual for Funko to drop a completely unrelated Pop into a case of other Pops like they've done here. A Batman thrown in cases of SS Pops? Wacky :-) Quantity-wise it certainly appears it will be as limited as most chases, but it doesn't have a chase sticker and isn't being released alongside a common Batman, so I don't know what to call it! "Limited Edition" maybe :-)
Howdy, I'm Tres :-)

Considering each case only has 1 Joker and 2 Batman, that would mean only employees get the exclusives. How nice.

The way things are going even if a store does get a second shipment it will be almost impossible to get one because employees will either set them aside and say none came in or there will be a line of people waiting for the doors to open and it will be a mad rush trying to get one. Looks like the easiest route is to just get one off eBay ASAP.

Two days ago I was watching the eBay auctions and saw one after another for a buy-it-now of 25.00. I passed thinking that was too high for a new Pop that just hadn't seen widespread distribution yet  If the distribution really was a one-time-only deal then these will probably settle in chase territory as far as price. But should there be another wave then the price could drop, maybe by a lot. I know everyone is saying there won't be anymore, but I remember the same kind of panic talk and crazy eBay pricing when FN-2187 first hit the stores.

I'm wondering if they keep some of these in the back or if they are getting more in. I remember on Monday at around 12:30 I saw two Batmans (I took both). Then the next day at 5pm I went back and one more Batman appeared but with a damaged box (I took that one too. I'm greedy.). I have no idea why that extra one would appear the next day unless it got hidden in the back and then rediscovered? Or was part of another shipment? Do you think maybe they ARE getting small secondary shipments with an extra Batman?

Funko never stated that fn would be limited or ultra rare. Plus they also came in bunches of 8. At least thats what I saw from 3 different stores here in the dfw area. I really think that these shipments will be it for the batman. I mean if it wasnt for one target employee putting it out early not one would have known until the release. Funko almost had us. LOL.

I passed on one for $30 with free shipping. Kicking myself in the face now for not jumping on it. I hope there is another shipment but not counting on it. :(

Yeah that's quite true, Funko did make it sound like this one was going to be very limited. And of course Batman is popular, so even if it's not super-limited the popularity of it helps make it scarce.

Maybe someone got it at a different Target (or had someone else get it for them), then decided they didn't want it because of the damaged box. They then brought it back to that store, who put it out on their shelves. I dunno. Just a thought. No clue how those things work.
