202 is Dug with cone of shame and Elliott is 206. I think it's more likely that some of those are the SDCC Parks exclusives. Moana will probably have numbers somewhere after 206.

but why? he was from a fairly low end Disney film that I almost never heard anybody talk about and a very short lived cartoon that again I have NEVER heard anybody mention let alone actually put it among their favorite shows. he just seems like a nobody character shoved down everybody's throats. and heck i'll admit I think he's a cool looking little dude, but not to the degree of needing 22 (now 23) funko figures including 6 (now 7) pops.

low end film, it is the biggest movie to come out of the 2nd dark age of disney, 3 years isnt short lived, it is average for disney, also there was a second series from 08-15.

it is funny with Tarzan because only in the US is he copyrighted, everywhere else he is public domain, Edgar Rice Burroughs, Inc own the copyright so if we were to get a Tarzan it would be the one that is coming out soon, but it seems to late for that now.

I agree. I've had enough of Stitch. It's time to move on to other characters. There are so many great ones that haven't been done in any of Funko's lines.

Stitch is a bit like the Duffy the Disney Bear of animated Disney characters. Older fans of classic Disney don't get it and just want it to go away. Meanwhile, younger generations worldwide help account for its popularity. (Tokyo/TokyoSea may as well be called Duffyland.) I recall reading an article that mentioned Stitch had overtaken Pooh as the second most popular character in terms of recognition and merchandise sales. I've softened my stance on both Stitch and Duffy (and their female counterparts Angel and Shellie Mae) since having children who like them so much. Pops are always welcome, but only because I'm not a completist.

both of those movies are really good, honestly the only major release from Disney this year that I'm worried will suck is the new Pete's Dragon

I for one am really excited about Stitch.

Spoiler: show

Lilo and Stitch was the second movie to be made at the Florida Disney animation location and it was directed by Chris Sanders (who also worked on The Croods for Dreamworks. You can see the style resemblance). While Lilo and Stitch was a lower-budget movie, it had almost twice the budget that The Lion King had (granted, that was a difference of 8 years, but all the same), and that movie was projected to be a side-film, eclipsed by Pocahontas. Its ticket gross was better than Hercules and The Princess and the Frog, and was the highest grossing North American release for Disney in 3 years at the time, because Treasure Planet and Atlantis kind of bombed. It also coined one very well-known phrase about family that I'm sure you've heard before.

Yes, there are plenty of characters and films from Disney that Funko hasn't touched, but Stitch is still very much loved (and from what I have seen, sells better than the Minions do). I'm certainly going to be getting Mr. Hawaiian-shirt-and-coconut-drink.

OMG, that Lady and the Tramp! Those definitely should be made. Too cute.

As for Stitch, it makes sense that they keep making him because he's so popular. Isn't he on a lot of Hot Topic merch too? Kinda on the same level as Tinker Bell was for a while (though Funko never really joined in the Tinker Bell craze I think, besides making her a mini Pop and a keychain over, in my eyes, more deserving characters. Oh, and the mystery minis of course). Tinker Bell is sort of my Stitch; I never got the big deal about her. I remember when (ok, slightly exaggerating) half the Disney stuff at HT was Tinker Bell themed. I was like, "Why?"
But if the demand is clearly there, why not milk it?
