I loved what this series brought with it...there were a whole slew of great shows that came about because it was successful. I'm sure they're going to be well done...

I wouldn't say people are unhappy, but the hype didn't help. So many people love this line and want an entire collection from the animated series, that is no question. It was just disappointing to see the first wave revealed and see names in wave one that we get so many versions of already. People were just hoping to get a few new charters right off the bat (no pun intended) before getting another Harley.
I mean how hard would it have been to maybe change it up a bit. How excited would people have been too see announcement like....
Wave 1 - Batman, Comm. Gordon, Catwoman, Clock King, & Riddler
Wave 2 - Robin, Harvey Bullock, Joker, Mad Hatter, Two-Face
Wave 3 - Batgirl, Poison Ivy, Harley, Penguin, Mr. Freeze
I know Brian said there will be more and they will go deep into the character catalogue, but with high expectations for something new, the list was just a little disappointing.
Not saying we won't buy them lol

I think the big thing is, your normal person who collets by just seeing them, doesn't realize there are multiple figures of the same character. Hopefully we will see a deeper catalogue.
