Wave 3 was kind of underwhelming. I'm a big Marvel fan, but this wave kind of missed the mark with me. I'm surprised how few exclusives they have for Marvel compared to DC. It's strange how there are more Dorbz than Pops as well. I like Dorbz, but not nearly as much as Pops. It of course had the required boring Deadpool variant. I'm really growing tired of these. Easy pass. I'm not a big fan of the X-Men, but I really like that Kitty Pryde Pop. She's one of only a few X-Men characters that I really like. It's awesome that she comes with Lockheed too. I don't think I'd call her a must have, but it's pretty close. I'm definitely buying her if I can find her. She's the best NYCC exclusive Pop they've revealed so far. Only item from wave 3 that I want. I'm surprised they didn't have a Pop from Civil War again. I was really hopeful they would have a new Pop from AoS, but not completely surprised they didn't. They like to overlook that show.

If I really think about it and don't want to get myself in trouble like I did with sdcc, there are 3 pops I really want and 2 pops and 3 dorbz I want get without breaking the bank (sorry Thanos). We'll see how it goes with the last 2 waves. Hopefully it stays close to these numbers, I'm still trying to dig myself out of the hole that sdcc made :-/

There are "rumor" posts out there, but nothing will be announced until October 6th from Funko.

Hahaha! If only I had some pull with Funko, I would pull whatever strings I could to make them happen $\:D/$ That photo you posted of the Charger is tempting me to whip up a custom using Dom's Charger, if I can resin-cast the flames and install LEDs behind them that would look killer, would be a big project but man it would be worth it :-)

I'm sure most of the HB ones will be numbered which will really stink. And of course you can't forget about Toy Tokyo because those will be super difficult to get your hands on.

Jason David Frank tweeted that out, TT still hasn't officially announced that one or any others but hopefully soon! I've read some tantalizing hints, so I'm looking forward to their reveals :-)

Ditto but my wallet is safe, although I have this sinking suspicion that the cereal monsters dorbz are going to be gd toy tokyo exlusives since tomorrow is the disney wave and thats it.

I feel bad for all the fans of the con only exclusives (banana splits, Hair bears) those are obscure brands to begin with and than to add a limited number on those runs.

I had a strong feeling the other two Banana Splits were coming for NYCC so that announcement wasn't much of a surprise, but I still LOVE them and was so happy to finally see what they look like :-)

But WOW, where did Penelope Pitstop come from?? That was the first announcement for NYCC that got me super-excited, so sooooo cool! It's an LE but at 2000 it shouldn't be too tough to get at a reasonable price. I've been collecting the Strawberry Shortcake ones for my GF so that two pack is a must-have as well. Not sure if anyone noticed but Strawberry Shortcake is slightly different than the production version, she's holding a strawberry and the pattern on her outfit and cap is different. GREAT wave for me, I loved it :-)
