Is it me or does the glittle Ariel look like she has a see thew left arm there?

What is going on with Funko and Disney releases lately? There seems to be less commitment to the brand IMO, with only really mainstream characters/new movie releases being made. Top that off with somewhat radio-silence with regards to new releases. Seems very odd to me. Moana is literally hitting store shelves, with no official announcement by Funko that they are releasing.

Ya know, I was thinking that too. But I managed to convince myself that Funko has been very busy with the enormous amount of items being released lately... SW & NYCC and have been busy getting ready for NYCC that they've allowed retailers / brands to promote their own products. To that end, I have noticed more and more brands promoting Funko products. Disney, Movie Studios, comic studios, game stores, etc have been publishing their own marketing for the funko products lately. Maybe this is a new trend, to allow Funko to focus on their own growth??

I don't know what it is but this makes 2 waves in a row that for Disney (Moana & Princesses) that have shown up on store shelves before they were even announced. So far Disney is the only line I'm seeing this problem in but the thing is, Disney isn't really marketing the Pops on their own either so I don't have a clue what is going on. I'm crossing fingers that maybe Brian or Yoko can shed some light on this.

I'm confused--are there 2 Hot Topic Ariel's? One picture looks really dark and another picture looks normal (except glittery)?

The glitter Ariel is a Hot Topic exclivit but you can also get the reg. Ariel at HT which is where I got mine from. Also the reg. Ariel would be at other places like TRU,Target and so on.

As for the Moana release dates - The three commons are due in October, the exclusives in November, and the two pack in January

First look at the Sebastian Pop! from the Little Mermaid. Toy Wars has said that Flounder is on the back of the box, so we can expect him as well.

The Sebastian and Flounder are definitely exciting and the Sebastian sneak peek looks great!

With them going back to the Princesses and older movies live the Little Mermaid I'm still sitting here waiting/hoping for an Aladdin and Prince Ali Ababwa version to ever get announced!

I think he's cute. I just hope he's a little smaller than normal pops, sort of like Mushu was.

What would've been funny is if they had him hiding under a piece of lettuce like in the Chef scene. lol

Here's Flounder:

He looks very cute. The one thing that concerns me is the paint job between his fins and his body. It looks like they painted yellow onto the top of the fins.

Yes!! TLM was one of my favorites growing up because of my obsession with the ocean lol

so this is perfect.

I can't wait to pair him with Flounder, who looks just as cute! :cheers:

I think what's throwing me off about Flouder is the nose, but I'm still going to grab him.
