Your ReAction Questions Answered Here!

Let's talk about Funko and Super 7's great line of ReAction and Legacy action figures. They don't bobble or pop, but they thrill in their own fun way.

Conan the Barbarian is a MUST in the MOTU/Son of Zorn 5" figure scale style! I was excited about the Conan ReAction, but Conan in vintage He-Man figure 5" style would be WAY cooler. What God must we please?

They did do a line of Conan figures but they weren't based on the 1982 movie. In fact, the only thing "Conan" about them was the name on the backing cards.

We had a chance to do Jurassic Park but passed on it. They've been done already and quite recently. I'm still seeing JP toys peg-warming at TRU. I just don't think that it maintained a high enough level of cultural longevity to warrant retro-style figures.

So after the success of Jurassic World, is this still the position of Funko regarding Reaction figures?

Well, we aren't making any ReAction figures going forward, so this for sure won't be happening.

Great, thanks!

Is there any change at all to the single pack Garthim vs the 2-pack NYCC one, aside from the winged Kira? Like color?

May we see a pic of it if possible please?

Any chance we might get to see a "what might have been" posting? I would love to see some of what was planed and mocked up. Like the Addams Family stuff. Any chance of that?
Okay, if you want to add glitter to that glue you're sniffing, that's fine, but don't dump your whackadoo all over us. We'd rather not step in it.

I've only ever been an extremely casual collector of ReAction figures, but my best friend is a huge fan. I was able to get him exclusives from SDCC and NYCC after the past few years and I know how much he values having those pieces in his collection. Though I'm saddened to see Funko moving on from these, I've had the pleasure of seeing a ton of Super 7s other items at Cons in the past and have no doubt they ar ethe perfect company to take over work on these. Thank you, Reis and everyone else at Funko that helped to make these a reality, to begin with, and give all of us nostalgic nerds a wonderful revisit to our Kenner filled childhoods.

Most of that stuff never even made it to concept stage. Even if it had, I think it would be unwise to post stuff that never got made because the licensors may not want that out there. And people sometimes tend to see that stuff without reading everything and just assume it's still getting made, which causes headaches.

I've heard some retailers are returning them because of the cardbacks falling off, which is resulting in a reduced supply. Not to mention the collectors that buy them online and then return them when they arrive uncarded. Is Funko going to provide replacements that wont fall off or is this it?

Bump - Reis, are you able to answer customer service questions? I emailed CS on the Funko website about the bubbles falling off the Dark Crystal figures - they didn't respond.

Sorry, not my department. But my advice to you is to just return them from where you bought them, or hopefully get an exchange. We've been trying to deal with this bubble issue with our factory and hopefully have things fixed going forward. I know it's a pain! But we're trying to make things better!

Unfortunately, we are no longer producing ReAction figures, so we won't be continuing the NBX line. I know, it sucks! But the timing of everything just happened to land where it did. I suppose that Super7 could try to obtain the license and continue them, but I can't speak for them.

I love Reaction more than Pops. As a child of the 80s my main draw is 3 3/4" figures. So far I've only got Jen and Kira from Dark Crystal. I've been outbid countless times on Golden Girls figures on ebay. I really wish they'd reproduce that set as I must have them!

I was looking into getting the Stranger Things 3 pack, but I may hold out for the MacFarlane figures instead.

Loved the Funko reaction figures. They had great ideas. I love my Jaws eating quint figure. He even has the machete. Details make the figures. Too bad they stopped making these.

A lot of the initial reaction figures felt like they were trying too hard to do bootleg Star Wars figures. Where they are at not with releases like Stranger things, Suicide squad and Golden girls, they feel more unique and less like they are trying to copy the Kenner aesthetic.
