I just need an Amy and I'll be happy. I'd love to see the line continue for the sake of everybody else, of course, but I just need an Amy (especially if it's her Time of The Doctor outfit) and my collection is complete.

I hope that the announcement of Playmobil and a Clara Pop is a good sign for Pops and maybe other lines. We need more companions and more Doctors.

That tweet says "Clara Oswald Funko", it doesn't say pop. It could turn out to be a playmobil Clara <the thought>!

I have zero interest in the Playmobil items, they look silly to me, so I hope the Clara announcement means a Pop and that more Pops are to come this year! :D

Well used my Hot Topic hot cash to purchase mainly DW pops today and have been watching Victoria on BBC so really hoping to see those rumored Clara Pops soon. Mebbe tomorrow during leakapalooza.

It still isn't clarified if we're getting Pop!s specifically, but it's a safe bet that'll be the case.

It's been a while since I've even watched Doctor Who, so I don't really have an extensive wish list anymore. I largely blame that on the fact Netflix no longer has Doctor Who.

The most obscure thing I'd like to see, however, is a 6 inch Face of Bo Pop. How awesome would that be? lol

A small wave would be awesome. Been buying some of the past Who Pop!s including some characters I said that I wouldn't collect / purchase. Still no interest in Clara (or River Song for that matter), but happy to collect most of the rest.

The Face Of Bo would make a great 6" Pop!

I'd be completely ok with smaller waves, considering DW isn't the only line I collect and my biggest line, Marvel is always pumping out pops I need or want. That said, I want pretty much any and all DW Pops Funko is willing to make, so the more the merrier overall. No more 10th, 11th or 12th variants though, please.

My list is still topped by any previous Doctor they haven't made, as well as Amy, Rory and various creatures/aliens like Ood, Judoon etc. I won't list them all, because I've done it a lot already, but I'm onboard for any and all Doctor Who pops! :D

Yes! No more 10, 11, or 12. I think they've exhausted just about every variant. Unless they wanna make 10th in his Voyage of the Damned tuxedo. Okay, then I'd buy that. lol

Hopefully the GIF in the tweet means we are getting a Clara pop. Though I would want older characters, I know the current series will probably sell the best for Funko.

I mean, we don't NEED any more variants of the three, but I'm weak and I'd buy whatever they made, haha.

And IF we are talking Voyage of the Damned, we would need Astrid, Bannakaffalatta and the Host!! \:D/

He was a damn fine actor...always Kane from Alien to me (one of my fav movies), but I did enjoy his performance in Day of the Doctor immensely... So sad.

I'm happy that I purchased the War Doctor Pop! a few days ago. I was wrestling with myself for ages whether to get it and I made the right decision. I will treasure it.

RIP John Hurt. I only saw him in the last Indiana Jones movie. Just from that I could tell just how great an actor he was, and would like to see what else he has done. I was hoping he would be in the next Indy movie. It's unfortunate that won't happen.

EDIT: I forgot that I also so him in Spaceballs. The movie is awful, but his part is kinda funny.

I literally read this on my phone as I clicked on this page on my computer, ha.
Peter has grown on me and become a pretty badass and fun Doctor, I will be sad to see him leave.
Hopefully his final year will have some pretty epic things happen, so he has some more solid episodes under his belt.

And I agree, with John Hurt's passing and finding out it's Peters last season(when it finally airs), we need more DW Pops to help us cope!!

I've worked in film and television for about 8 years now. The very first film that I worked on, as an intern, was "An Englishman in New York", which starred John Hurt. It was a much-belated follow-up to one of his breakout films in the 70's, The Naked Civil Servant. One of my first duties was to be there while his makeup artist tried different looks for his makeup test and take photos for the Producers of the film. What this resulted in was John Hurt, the makeup artist, and I hanging out in an apartment for 3 or 4 hours. During that time we mostly conversed, about all manner of things. Politics, film, family, life. I've worked with many "talents" since then, but I will never forget how kind, thoughtful, and genuinely interested he was. I have always been a big fan of his film work, but that afternoon that was a blip for him has stayed with me ever since. He was one of a kind, may he R.I.P.

After the loss of John Hurt and now the announcement of Peter Capaldi stepping down, my poor Whovian hearts are broken. This has been a sad week for DW fans. The one bright side is that we now get to speculate about who the next Doctor will be.

Thank you for the lovely story, Brian.

i was just going to say too much bad news in such a short time span. I'm not ready to speculate. Peter is still the Doctor to me and he will always be my Doctor.. I can't even accept his resignation yet. What is it with this 3 season curse? Nobody wants to stay longer than that. I really thought Peter would break 3 seasons.
