Well keep in mind that no one knows what's going to be in the sub boxes yet. Everything you're reading in this thread is just conjecture based on the fact that some protos of Disney parks characters have been seen. But that doesn't mean those Pops are going to be in the sub box/ boxes, they could very well be protos for in-park exclusives and the sub boxes may not contain them. Only time will tell!

Personally, I can't wait for all the characters from Bear Country Jamboree to appear in Pop or Dorbz form. :freddy2:

I personally hope that the boxes aren't too heavy on Parks items. I'm not really that interested in them. For me the hope is that this box will give us animated film characters that otherwise would probably or never have been released. A lot of the characters I most want to see are ones that Disney themselves tend to ignore when it comes to releasing their own merch through their parks and the Disney Store.

I feel exactly the same. I don't plan on initially subscribing to this for this very reason. I love Disney i just am not super in love with all the parks only characters. I generally don't even really recognize them or know their names if I do. If the themes are rides in the park or sections of the park I will probably skip the boxes. If they are animated movies that I love and know I still want/need characters from (cough...the Princes...cough) then I would definitely subscribe for those. I am also not really into Mickey and his gang so I think there will be quite a few boxes that hold no interest for me. The stuff I want that is Disney I REALLY want though, so I guess I just have to hope for detailed themes and maybe some leaks or partial announcements like they have been doing a lot with the Star Wars boxes.

so who ants to bet that the arks character(s) in the first box will be from Pirates of the Caribbean? I feel like if they wanted to specify a Peter Pan box it would have been Peter Pan, and if PotC only same thing, by calling it Pirates Cove you can put both in the box together. Personally I'm hoping for either the auctioneer or the redhead

Well we know Mr. Smee at least, which is pretty awesome (love that the box is covering the movies as well)... but here's to hoping a specific skeleton proto that's been circulating ends up in this box too!

I'm really hoping he's in the first box, too! I still haven't been able to get an Indy and I'm sad. But that's also because I can't justify spending more than $30 on a single Pop! for now. So I have hope for Jolly Roger since it isss called Pirates Cove...but I've been very wrong more than multiple times. =oP

Content speculation: This morning, Disney announced their new pin sets coming to parks late summer. They look strikingly similar to Funko's MyEmoji figs. Could we perhaps see these new pins in the sub box??? The timing looks right.

I'm debating whether or not to pay for founder. The only rides I'd want stuff from is Indiana Jones, Matterhorn, Haunted Mansion, and maybe Splash Mountain. The rest lack an emotional bond with me.

Well it's exciting news, and it seems like a lot of people are happy about Mr. Smee but I'm not one of them. He's one of the more forgettable Disney characters as far as I'm concerned. I'm REALLY surprised that they're launching the announcement with him front and center, I would think they'd want to fire a big volley to get our attention. If they want to go with the pirate theme then how about Jack Sparrow in the Black Pearl Ride, now THAT would be impressive. Or if the theme is Peter Pan, then how about a Peter Pan/ Captain Hook 2 pack with Peter on a flying base. I'm sure this sub will be awesome but this is just a strange way to start it off in my opinion.
