Power Rangers
Power Rangers has been on the air for over twenty years. In that time there have been a ton of seasons besides MMPR. As much as I love MMPR, I'd love to see Pops for some of the other seasons. Ninja Steel(the current season on air), Megaforce and Super Megaforce, Zeo, Jungle Fury, RPM, Time Force, Wild Force to name a few.
I also think it'd be cool to do helmetless or civilian forms of the Rangers, especially of the new movie Rangers. Ivan Ooze and some other villains would also be cool to have.

Helmetless power rangers would be awesome. I'm not sure how the other ranger series will do, maybe start them out as pint size heroes to see how they do.

Re: Power Rangers
Personally for me...MMPR was the only good Power Rangers series...all the others which followed were completely soulless and forgettable imo...they also seemed to be flashes in the pan compared to MMPR, which was a phenomenal success back in it's day.
How many people actually watched the 20? (or more?) inferior spinoffs that followed? And more importantly how many people would still hold them in high regard today...?
I know a lot of MMPR collectors would love more baddies and related characters in Pop! form though...

I feel they'd do well. Tons of Power Rangers fans are a bit tired of the MMPR are tired of the MMPR pandering and a lot of the newer stuff is just as good if not better. So I think they'd sell. I would love to see some Pint size though and the helmetless I hope happens real soon.

Re: Power Rangers
I would want to see a clssic Rita before anything else.
Personally I love most seasons of Power Rangers. I grew up watching series and have kept watching the shows. I'm quite a fan of the Disney seasons, but haven't really enjoyed it since it went back to Saban.
I would love to see some Ninja Storm or Mystic Force pops, but I doubt they would be recognisable enough to sell. I'm sure a huge amount of the MMPR sales come from the nostalia factor, which probably doesn't exist for a lot of people for the other seasons.

Re: Power Rangers
I grew up with the series as well and have continued to watch. The dvd sales for the newer seasons are what inspired Lionsgate and Saban to take a shot at a movie(an awesome move in my opinion). So I feel there wold be a market for the newer seasons. Especially given how many fans of the franchise are so desperate for outside merch that isn't MMPR.
Ninja Storm and Mystic Force I feel will get a boost soon. For the anniversary some of the old rangers will be cameoing in Ninja Steel. Yellow Mystic force I know was on set. I think Ninja Storm was the red ranger.

I like the revamps of the mmpr line, however I would have preferred unmasked versions or even civilian clothes versions over the teleporting set. I remember them teleporting on the show as just flashes of color so I don't really get how that translates into translucent full body color molds.

Got to thinking about some specific things I'd like to see. Ninja Steel in their Ninja training outfits, Dino Charge in their suits and a helmetless version of Dino Charge in their suits, Zeo with their weapons, Super Megaforce and they could be holding ranger keys, and I think a Pop ride of Super Megaforce's Pirate ship, would be cool.

Has anyone seen the step the original red ranger is taking against flippers? He's p*** that people get him to sign things and then they make fortunes on it.

Re: Power Rangers
All I want is tommys dragon (metallic) and I want a store to finally pick up the metallic black ranger. Such crap that no store wants to pay more than another store for him or pay for him period. I would love the old school poses to get a metallic finish but I don't see that happening.

Re: Power Rangers
I had no idea they were still around. I can't remember when I stopped watching them but it had to be shortly after the original cast got depleted. I'm actually shocked it's still going on. Who knows what plans Funko has for them but MMPR seemed like a successful line so I'm sure they'll make more if they have the opportunity.

I'm still desperately waiting for Metallic Black Ranger, wonder why it's taking them so long to make one. Also, since Dragon Shield Red Ranger is already a thing, the Black Ranger version is not impossible either. They also still need to make Lord Zerd, Rita, Goldar, Scorpina and maybe unmasked rangers as well. It will be such a long road before we see other version of power rangers being made.

Re: Power Rangers
So I think Brian and the Funko gods have answered my prayers since I started collecting in 2013.... in regards to Funko's booth currently at ToyCon in the Philippines... they showcased a classic Rita Repulsa in POP form and I feel like a kid on Christmas morning right now. She is absolutely designed flawlessly and I'm currently beside myself. Can't wait to hear any news of when her release date is. I figured it would be okay to discuss since they showcased her at the ToyCon.
**if this isn't some form of trickery, I want to be the first to thank Brian and the Funko team for making this dream collectible a reality...Happy Fourth y'all!

I'm glad that's just a custom cause I don't find it all that impressive. Classic Rita is definitely overdue though. (As are any and all classic villains in general)

I to only have like the classic Rangers none of the others where great. I stop watching them when Tommy and the other left and gave there powers to Ashley & The other kids. I take that back I did see a little bit of the one that Ashley a.k.a. Tracy Lynn Cruz was in. She was the only other one that I like from the show. But other then that I stop watching them

I don't really like Power Rangers, but I did when I was a child. If they made Rita (the way she looked in the TV show), I'd probably get it. I always loved her costume/staff. She was my favorite thing about the show, .

Re: Power Rangers
I don't really think the original is that much better than subsequent seasons. I think a lot of regard it has is mostly nostalgia and it doesn't always hold up.
Not that I dislike it I just feel like other seasons get a bad rap when mmpr was like 4 different super sentai seasons combined while just reusing the zyuranger suits.
As far as mass market appeal goes MMPR is probably going to make them the most money though so I wouldn't blame them for not deviating from it.
There are still plenty of iconic characters from that yet to be made though. Zordon, Rita, Zedd, goldar, putties, etc.
And they might do those power ranger ninja costumes too.
