It's a Small World dorbz ride

Postby jonathan197628 » Fri Aug 04, 2017 1:54 pm

I have heard a rumor that they are making a second It's a small world dorbz ride with a dorbz from Asia and Africa. It is supposed to be exclusive to the Disney parks. I was just wondering when it would be sold inside and outside of the Disney parks. I am also curious if they would add more small world dorbz rides such as children from the United States, Italy, Australia, France, Russia, Argentina, Britain, etc.... I can't wait to hear the details.

While more Ridez would be awesome, I hope they only make the 2. Haha. I'm determined this time around, when they do go on sale, that I will be prepared and will not go to bed until I buy it from DisneyStore.com. No more missing out!!!

I think this is what you're referring to, it sounds like the boat will be exactly the same as in the Disney sub box but the passengers will be different:

This is all we know about it so far, no news on when or where it'll be available yet.

I've rode the ride but cannot remember if all the boats are the same color. Let's hope for a different color boat as well. Either way I'll be buying lol

They are all the same color, at Disneyland at least.

Love these - I ordered this Sub. box expressly for the Dorbz Ride, so I'm hoping that the Disney Parks ride is easily obtainable. A different color would be cool too.

I do wish Disneyland would sell a handful of different 2-packs with different children.

Then we could have an army of overly happy zombie-like kids for the boat to float by. The way they just stand there, singing, taunting the people in the boat, ready to pounce on them, stabbing the tourists with their kites and flutes then rip the flesh from their bodies... just like on the ride at Disneyland.

From looking at previous pictures from my past, there has been pink, green, and blue.

You're right. I guess all of the green boats just got bunched up together the last time I was there a couple months ago.

A different color would make it a little more palatable. I still have bad tastes over the Harry Potter same-passenger-car-with-different-people Pop Ride. But I'll be buying regardless too, since I'm a slave to remaining complete lol

You're probably right about them selling out slower than Jolly Roger or Indy. People either love or hate Small World plus they are Dorbz. I personally love Dorbz and would have every Dobz if I had more space (and $$) but some collectors just collect Pops. This bodes well for those of us who A) Love anything and everything Disney and B) Love and collect Dorbz or anything Funko.

Ok, so I went to the park yesterday, because i couldn't remember if the boats were different colors or not. And the boats all seemed to be the same color of bottom (floaty part) with different colored top sections (seating part).

Throughout the years there have been different color boats. There's been pink, green, aqua, blue...

This was a prop boat from the Tomorrowland movie.

All the boats may be the same color now but they did have different colors at some point or have changed the colors throughout the years. Funko seems to be putting a bit of Disney Parks history into these pieces so it's not too far off to hope for a different color boat.

Cool pics! I'm really digging the wood one, reminds me of the 50's Chris Craft Runabout! Speaking of that, oh how I would love for Funko to find an excuse to make it into a Ridez! Not sure if it was ever used in a movie or something, surely it was. And if it wasn't, then pretend it was. Just please, make it lol

I LOVED opening this box. The packaging on it is so fantastic - I'm OOB collector but I'm torn on this one! I would love to see a 3pack of additional Small world dorbz children. Or like 3 3packs :D I don't necessarily need another teal boat but I could certainly switch the children out. And is it just me or do these dorbz look bigger than most?

This is my favorite dorbz item by far! I hope the additional dorbz children (Africa and Asia) will be easier to obtain than the previous parks exclusives.
