Hikaris are great, it's just tough to collect at it's price point

Overall the style is not popular with the ones they have done. However, I do have to say the Hikari Megazord was spot on and looked great. I was lucky and able to get all of them.

Re: Anybody Think Hikari will Blow up?
I had this JiangShi (SDCC) in coffin and Jade Megazord (ECCC).
Only two I've ever owned.
I was told both would be worth lots.
I ended up giving them away to friends who REALLY wanted them.
Megazord is now $180 -- which is about where it started, bought it at $80 .
I was given Jiangshi and at the time it was PPG for $100 but now it went down to $45.
I'm not sure what you meant by "blow up" but I think the pricing might be on the higher end for it to purchase lots of or go up in value after that.
Many of them are numbered too...

Hikaris look cool but they’re like double the price of a Pop so I haven’t gotten into them. Collecting Pops can get expensive enough as it is

Love the look of some, talked here about getting in to them...ultimately didn't. Just too pricey and niche...just easier sticking with Pop!s and Mystery Minis...

I m with you the price makes it hard to buy them u have to be very selective but I do like that they don't make alot of them

Yes price is definitely tough, but the other problem is their size as I have heard multiple people complain about. I like the mini's but of course making it smaller makes it harder to get great design.
PS
Hikari GITD is amazing, would be interesting to see a flocked Hikari.

I only liked some hikaris. The minis are just more manageable with space and easier to just buy a few or all if you wanted to....more variety

The price point is definitely an issue with Hikari, plus they aren't as space-friendly as say a Pop.

The mini ones are more reasonably priced right now so those seem to sell better. I love the larger ones but people just dont wanna pay that high of a price

I completely agree, I like the price point and colors of the mini Hikari, but they're just missing some detail for me. There's something so awesome about a big GITD hikari. While the prices are high, at least a decent amount of them don't resell well. So if you look around and wait, you can scoop up some of them for pretty cheap. Needless to say, if you collect Hikari, you're probably not trying to make money off them!

^This^ Hikari modeling is not really consistent and the results aren't always appealing to fans, regardless of price point. Then you have ones like Megazord that are absolutely beautiful and fully realized, if every Hikari had the appeal as that model it would be a wildly popular line. As it is I think the Hikari XS line has the best potential to get some traction as they're very cute and have a lower entry cost.

I think Funko was really smart introducing the smaller Hikari figures. Less expensive and closer to the pop size. I didn’t care for the larger Hikari figures but I am really loving the smaller ones.

I agree with you there, the larger ones are an acquired taste for certain collectors. These minis are more in the style of pops and most will like like the price tag and colors vs what regular Hikari look like. I hope they do mini Rangers to go with the regular sized Megazord
