There a 99.9% chance that Spaceballs anything will NEVER happen. Reportedly, Mel Brooks was a big fan of George Lucas' work and wanted to get his blessing before doing a Star Wars spoof. George Lucas agreed, but only on the condition that there never be any Spaceballs merchandise (beyond a home video release) as he felt it wouldn't be fair to profit off merchandise based on characters based on his work. I've heard that this provision was actually worked into the contracts while producing the film.

That totally makes sense but at the same time makes me very sad. I also would love to see a Spaceballs line.

Me too. I don't collect a whole lot anymore, but I'd totally be all in on a Spaceballs line if it were to ever happen.

It brought a smile to my face reading earlier posts and what licenses people wanted funko to acquire. Some of them were
Jurrassic Park, Fraggle Rock. These are ones which we know they have already acquired them and pops are now our or coming out. It just proves that eventually Funko gets the licenses for pops we would like and listens to their fans...aka funatics.
