Old school games

Postby _ZROE » Wed Jan 31, 2018 3:34 pm

What old school game should get the pop treatment? We already saw 8 bit old school Jason and Freddy. But I would definitely love to see a old school April from turtles in time in 8 bit form. It doesn’t have to be in 8 bit form. Just any old school game you’d love to see in pop form.

I not sure how well the Pac-Man line sold, but and 8bit version of Pac-Man and the ghosts would be cool.

Is Zombies Ate My Neighbors considered old school? It's one of my all-time favorite SNES games! I think Zeke and Julie would be soo sick especially now that it looks like they've been able to get lenses on pop's glasses now.

I'd love Spyro more than any others, which feels more of a possibility now that there's a Crash set. And Legacy of Kain would be awesome.

Haha, with Pop Board Games being a thing you never know. Maybe not those ones in particular but Cluedo, etc.

I would like some Scott Pilgrim vs the World 8-Bits to go with the game they released with the movie. I know it's not old school but its in old school style.

Agree - I probably chose the wrong examples (how would I create a pop out of those little risk jacks?) lol

River City Ransom needs to happen. I’m sure it won’t, but I have fond memories of playing that game with my brothers.

How about some 6-inch Rampage 8-bits??? Given that a movie's being made it doesn't seem too crazy.

It would be nice to see Nintendo games to get the Funko treatment. Super Mario, Legend of Zelda, Metroid and Donkey Kong would be my top picks.

Was just about to comment this. Was talking about this a few days ago. I like the 8bit line and getting in some
Classics like this would be awesome. I’d even like a 6” Goro for the first deluxe pop. So many more that could be done.

First...stop with the 8-bit POPs, especially the ones that were never 8-bit to begin with. We left the 8-bit era behind for a much more detailed and beautiful future. I want to see those classic characters the way I imaged or the way I saw them on arcade cabinet artwork, not how I was forced to see them on the screen lol

Contra 2pk
Battletoads
Altered Beast
Mutant League Football
Beyond Oasis
Robocop vs Terminator
Rampage (6" POPs)
Ghost & Goblins
Okami
